At the hall of Assembly of the Left wing pack, Cain sat high on his throne, the elders standing below in rows of four- two rows by Cain's left and two by his left. A long red fur carpet seperating them.

Cain had summoned a meeting at the late house

An elder stepped forward, his head bowed slightly. "Alpha, the pack has been under stability all thanks to your wisdom and graceful leading the people have been very thankful for that. But..." he paused.

Cain raised a brow. "What's the matter?"

The elder looked at him contemplating on whether to continue, but he pushed forward with what he had started. "Alpha Kael has stopped the supply for the essentials required by the pack members of Left wing."

Cain hit his fist angrily at the armrest of his throne. "What do you mean by that?"

"It is just has I have said. Right wing of New moon pack Controls the receiving and the supply of our essentials like food, clothing etc, but for the past one week, we haven't received anything but flimsy excuses."

Cain frown, thick line appearing between his brow, a muscle in his jaw twitched and his lips slowly drew back in a snarl.

"If it continues like this, the pack members will live in huge poverty." Another elder chipped in.

"I will take care of it. My people won't suffer." Cain vowed, though his brows were still knitted.

Elder Mako stepped forward- the oldest Elder in the left wing. "Alpha Cain, I believe I speak on behalf of some elders when I say Luna Aria is no longer worthy to be called Luna."

Few members gasped at what he had just sprouted out while others nodded in agreement.

But Cain, he just simply kept his cool, even thought he was boiling in rage inwardly. He wanted to come down the throne and snap his neck instantly for calling his mate unworthy.

To contain all the fury, he just simply clenched his two fist, his nails digging into his palm and his knuckles turning white.

"Any why is that?" he asked, voice calm.

"It is now a known fact that the Luna keeps going unconscious every now and then. Everyone of us knew for a fact that she is a wolfless weak omega but we accepted her because you wanted her, but if she continues to display that she is weak, I suggest you take in another Luna."

The supporting elders nodded while the others snarled in disapproval.

"How about you take Princess Maida into consideration. She is from the bloodline of Alpha's and she will make a good leader. Moreover you both have been friends since childhood." Another elder suggested.

Cain lost his cool facade he had been trying to show and he let out a loud spine shivering growl. "Enough!!!!!"

"I will take no other Luna in except Aria. And anyone who speaks of this is considered a threat and a rebel to the pack. I'm sure you all know the consequences of rebellion."

*********

The air inside the ruined stone house was thick and heavy with burning incense.

The old seer sat before a shallow fire pit, bones and carved stones arranged in a precise circle around him. Though he had lost his powers after it had been stripped off by the moon goddess, he could still perform dark rituals as it was recorded in a book by the first seer to ever exist.

"Alpha Kael, you want to break a bond blessed by the Moon Goddess," the seer said slowly. "I'm sure you certainly do understand what you are asking?”

Kael stepped forward, his presence commanding, cold. "Yes, I just simply want what was stolen from me.”

The seer chuckled, a dry, broken sound. "Stolen? What a nice word to use to balance the ego in you." he muttered then closed his eyes.

Kael's jaw tightened. "Watch your mouth!'

"This ritual will not restore your bond. It will corrupt hers. It will make her lose control of her wolf."

Kael’s eyes darkened. "I don't give a flying f*ck about it, so far she is mine."

The seer leaned forward, his eyes still closed. "Only Aria's wolf want you. That is to say, her head what you, but her heart says otherwise. If I help in the forceful awakening of her wolf, it will reject the claimed bond and crawl back to the first mark it ever knew."

Tharren stiffened behind them. "That could kill her."

The seer nodded. "It would cause the pack fall."

Kael didn’t blink. "She mustn't die. You have to do something about that." he sneaked.

The seer smiled slowly. "You blood will be needed for the binding and when it is done, you will stand alone to bear the consequences of your action.0"

Kael extended his palm. "Do it."

The fire flared violently, shadows crawling up the walls like living things.

Tharren walked out with clenched fist since he couldn't bear watching it.

"Then know this,"the seer said, carving a symbol into the dirt. "Once the ritual begins, Cain will feel it. Aria will also feel it, she will bleed as her wolf tries to forcefully come out. And when her wolf does… Alpha Cain will fall."

Kael’s lips curved into a dangerous smile. "Let the ritual begin."

The old seer cut his palm with a sharp knife, collecting it in a bowl.

He began the ritual with several incantation flowing out of his mouth.

Night had already settled over the pack. Cain sat alone by the window in his chamber staring at the dark forest that extended far beyond his eyes could see.

Aria was in the bathroom freshening up when he suddenly had her scream in pain.

"Aria!" he called out standing up from where he sat to go meet her.

Suddenly, he felt something slam into his chest like a violent pulse, sharp and sudden.

Cain stiffened, his eyes going dark immediately. "Aria!" he whispered, one hand clutched to his chest and the other instinctively reaching out to the door which was still some steps away from him.

In the bathroom, Aria had had already slumped to the ground unconscious, but her body still wriggled as her wolf tried forcing it way out.

"He is calling me." her wolf kept whispering.

He began feeling weak and each time he tired to take a step forward amidst the pain, his leg wobbled till it finally gave in. His knees reached the ground with a thud.

The red thread of fate between him began to feel so fragile. The connection was there, but distorted. Like the thread of fate was l being pulled too tight with the hope of breaking it.

His jaw clenched, his wolf began to stir uncomfortably from within him. The pain increased, sharp and unbearable. He couldn't move. He couldn't feel himself.

Then a sudden realization hit him, this was Aria's awakening.

At that moment Cain felt it- a second presence.

Someone else was touching the bond.

Cain’s breath came slow and heavy, but his eyes burned with fury. "Kael," he growled under his breath, the name tasting like poison in his mouth.

At that moment he went unconscious.

The moonlight slipping in through the open windows of Kael's chamber illuminated half the room. Its light casting shadows on the walls of his room.Fresh from his bath, droplets of water still clung to his dark hair, sliding slowly down the sides of his neck and disappearing beneath the collar of his shirt. The damp strands gave him a rugged, careless allure, making him look even more striking than usual. His sharp eyes moved over the stacks of paperwork scattered across his desk.Reports. Complaints. Patrol updates. Festival preparations. He never treated his duties lightly, especially when it concerned his people. Sleep could wait. Responsibility could not.Tonight, he was prepared to deprive himself of rest until every last document was handled. He rolled his shoulders and cracked his neck, loosening the stiffness in his muscles before settling into the chair. The single candle burning on his desk flickered gently, its warm light blending with the cold silver glow of the moon and b

"What the hell are you saying girl?" Aria muttered, voice low yet tension filled. "How can Alpha Kael be your mate?""Exactly!!" Lynn added, pacing around their room, with a hand on her head. "I can't seem to wrap my head around it.""It is what it is. I won't lie about my mate, would I?" Mariella mumbled and let out a heavy sigh."Okay... let's say he is your mate–Aria was caught off when Mariella casted her a glare, her eyes saying 'he is my mate.'"Fine! Fine!" Aria raised her hand in submission. "He is your mate. But, I don't get. If he is your mate, why are you the only one feeling it? Because from what I saw, he didn't react to any bond at all."Lynn stopped pacing, her eyes settled on Mariella.Mariella breathed out, her eyes closed as her thoughts flew back to the incident earlier.FLASHBACK"Mate." Mariella muttered once more."You are joking right?" Aria asked, stepping closer to her. "You can't be serious.""That joke is expensive Ella. Quit the act." Lynn added, pinching

Chief commander Kade sat on his bed, hand clasped together. He seemed to be in deep thought as he buried his face to the ground. His mind, his thought– were a big mess as it all linked back to just one person– the Luna.Aria.He let out a soft low sigh, as he rolled up the sleeves of his cloth, displaying his well built muscles and veins of his right arm.A small scar– like the shape of a crescent, resided on his biceps, comfortably. He had gotten the scar when he was young and he remembered crying a lot as a result of that. The wound couldn't heal because his wolf powers were still dormant at that time and the wound was from a knife covered with poison from a moon cursed flower which prevent wounds from healing, resulting in a scar.Once, just beside the scar, a name which was written with permanent ink stood beside the scar like a protector, but all that was left of it now was fade which won't be noticeable unless one comes closer. The name was... Aria."Aria..." he whispered out lo

"What in the moon goddess name is this?" Aria gasped.Mariella simply let out a grin, revealing her set of perfectly white teeth. "Just a little something that will burst the brains of your man and make him go crazy. BOOM!!!""Why would she want Alpha Cain to go crazy?" Lynn asked with furrowed brows."You both are just too innocent and you literally know nothing... sigh... life in the human world is much more fun that life here. But anyways–" Mariella stood to her feet. "Mama is here for both of you."Aria's check flushed– a deep shade of pink as she heard the word 'Mama' roll out of Ella's mouth."What's happening to you? Why are you looking red?" Mari asked, her voice laced with concern.Lynn shook her head, folding a hand below her bust. "Apparently, Alpha Cain calls her mama." she explained, smacking Aria on her head gently."Ya!! What was that for? I'm the Luna remember." Aria grumbled."Tsk""It's amazing you know how to blush, out dear little Luna." Mariella smirked, giving he

"Why did you pack a lot of bags with you?" Lynn complained as they carried Mariella's bag to her room. They were both going to share the room as it was spacious enough to contain a lot of people."You will soon know what I packed. I brought a lot of goodies from the human world and different clothes especially for Aria. Sexy clothes that are going to drive Alpha Cain crazy. I heard he was your mate." Mariella gushed.Aria eyed her with a smile. "You know so much for someone who spent her life in a different world."Mariella flicked her hair backward. "I'm called Mariella for a reason." she said funnily with a proud smile.Lynn and Aria laughed out loud."Still silly as ever." Lynn whispered.--"Take, try it out." Mariella muttered, pushing a box of chocolate to her friends.Aria started at it in disgust, scrunching her nose at the sight. She eyed Mariella, giving her a "what the hell is this' look.Lynn was no less different. "What's the brown weird looking stuff. Looks like my faece

The general hall was quiet, everyone stood in silence, eyes focused on the the two Alphas who stood at the high end of the hall. Both of them were dressed in dark formal robes trimmed with silver thread, their expressions composed, yet unreadable. The weight of leadership rested heavily on their shoulders, but neither of them allowed it to show."Though the pack in a state of emergency, there is still something important we must discuss." Kael began carefully.Several eyes turned toward him."The Crescent Moon Festival, which is to be held in two weeks time."A sudden shift in tension passed through the hall.At a time like this? They all had several thought running through their mind, but silence settled."I know it isn't the best time to hold a festival, as the killer is still roaming around free... but we can't cancel a tradition that has been passed down for years."Elder Zaphi muttered, "Gathering the entire pack in one place feels dangerous."Murmurs of agreement spread around t
