At the hall of Assembly of the Left wing pack, Cain sat high on his throne, the elders standing below in rows of four- two rows by Cain's left and two by his left. A long red fur carpet seperating them.

Cain had summoned a meeting at the late house

An elder stepped forward, his head bowed slightly. "Alpha, the pack has been under stability all thanks to your wisdom and graceful leading the people have been very thankful for that. But..." he paused.

Cain raised a brow. "What's the matter?"

The elder looked at him contemplating on whether to continue, but he pushed forward with what he had started. "Alpha Kael has stopped the supply for the essentials required by the pack members of Left wing."

Cain hit his fist angrily at the armrest of his throne. "What do you mean by that?"

"It is just has I have said. Right wing of New moon pack Controls the receiving and the supply of our essentials like food, clothing etc, but for the past one week, we haven't received anything but flimsy excuses."

Cain frown, thick line appearing between his brow, a muscle in his jaw twitched and his lips slowly drew back in a snarl.

"If it continues like this, the pack members will live in huge poverty." Another elder chipped in.

"I will take care of it. My people won't suffer." Cain vowed, though his brows were still knitted.

Elder Mako stepped forward- the oldest Elder in the left wing. "Alpha Cain, I believe I speak on behalf of some elders when I say Luna Aria is no longer worthy to be called Luna."

Few members gasped at what he had just sprouted out while others nodded in agreement.

But Cain, he just simply kept his cool, even thought he was boiling in rage inwardly. He wanted to come down the throne and snap his neck instantly for calling his mate unworthy.

To contain all the fury, he just simply clenched his two fist, his nails digging into his palm and his knuckles turning white.

"Any why is that?" he asked, voice calm.

"It is now a known fact that the Luna keeps going unconscious every now and then. Everyone of us knew for a fact that she is a wolfless weak omega but we accepted her because you wanted her, but if she continues to display that she is weak, I suggest you take in another Luna."

The supporting elders nodded while the others snarled in disapproval.

"How about you take Princess Maida into consideration. She is from the bloodline of Alpha's and she will make a good leader. Moreover you both have been friends since childhood." Another elder suggested.

Cain lost his cool facade he had been trying to show and he let out a loud spine shivering growl. "Enough!!!!!"

"I will take no other Luna in except Aria. And anyone who speaks of this is considered a threat and a rebel to the pack. I'm sure you all know the consequences of rebellion."

*********

The air inside the ruined stone house was thick and heavy with burning incense.

The old seer sat before a shallow fire pit, bones and carved stones arranged in a precise circle around him. Though he had lost his powers after it had been stripped off by the moon goddess, he could still perform dark rituals as it was recorded in a book by the first seer to ever exist.

"Alpha Kael, you want to break a bond blessed by the Moon Goddess," the seer said slowly. "I'm sure you certainly do understand what you are asking?”

Kael stepped forward, his presence commanding, cold. "Yes, I just simply want what was stolen from me.”

The seer chuckled, a dry, broken sound. "Stolen? What a nice word to use to balance the ego in you." he muttered then closed his eyes.

Kael's jaw tightened. "Watch your mouth!'

"This ritual will not restore your bond. It will corrupt hers. It will make her lose control of her wolf."

Kael’s eyes darkened. "I don't give a flying f*ck about it, so far she is mine."

The seer leaned forward, his eyes still closed. "Only Aria's wolf want you. That is to say, her head what you, but her heart says otherwise. If I help in the forceful awakening of her wolf, it will reject the claimed bond and crawl back to the first mark it ever knew."

Tharren stiffened behind them. "That could kill her."

The seer nodded. "It would cause the pack fall."

Kael didn’t blink. "She mustn't die. You have to do something about that." he sneaked.

The seer smiled slowly. "You blood will be needed for the binding and when it is done, you will stand alone to bear the consequences of your action.0"

Kael extended his palm. "Do it."

The fire flared violently, shadows crawling up the walls like living things.

Tharren walked out with clenched fist since he couldn't bear watching it.

"Then know this,"the seer said, carving a symbol into the dirt. "Once the ritual begins, Cain will feel it. Aria will also feel it, she will bleed as her wolf tries to forcefully come out. And when her wolf does… Alpha Cain will fall."

Kael’s lips curved into a dangerous smile. "Let the ritual begin."

The old seer cut his palm with a sharp knife, collecting it in a bowl.

He began the ritual with several incantation flowing out of his mouth.

Night had already settled over the pack. Cain sat alone by the window in his chamber staring at the dark forest that extended far beyond his eyes could see.

Aria was in the bathroom freshening up when he suddenly had her scream in pain.

"Aria!" he called out standing up from where he sat to go meet her.

Suddenly, he felt something slam into his chest like a violent pulse, sharp and sudden.

Cain stiffened, his eyes going dark immediately. "Aria!" he whispered, one hand clutched to his chest and the other instinctively reaching out to the door which was still some steps away from him.

In the bathroom, Aria had had already slumped to the ground unconscious, but her body still wriggled as her wolf tried forcing it way out.

"He is calling me." her wolf kept whispering.

He began feeling weak and each time he tired to take a step forward amidst the pain, his leg wobbled till it finally gave in. His knees reached the ground with a thud.

The red thread of fate between him began to feel so fragile. The connection was there, but distorted. Like the thread of fate was l being pulled too tight with the hope of breaking it.

His jaw clenched, his wolf began to stir uncomfortably from within him. The pain increased, sharp and unbearable. He couldn't move. He couldn't feel himself.

Then a sudden realization hit him, this was Aria's awakening.

At that moment Cain felt it- a second presence.

Someone else was touching the bond.

Cain’s breath came slow and heavy, but his eyes burned with fury. "Kael," he growled under his breath, the name tasting like poison in his mouth.

At that moment he went unconscious.

Aria stirred slowly, her lashes fluttering open as the soft warmth around her pulled her fully awake. She tried to move, but it felt impossible as she was wrapped in strong arms, her body pressed gently against a firm chest beneath the covers. Her breath hitched for a moment as memories of the previous night flooded her mind.A faint smile curved her lips as a blush slowly spread across her cheeks at the thought. She wouldn't be exaggerating if she said it was the best night of her life. She snuggled closer to Cain, clinging to him like a second skin, not minding the fact that they were both naked beneath the covers. Her fingers tightened slightly against the blanket.A memory suddenly flashed through her mind, making her gaze shift slowly, trailing up towards Cain's neck. Her breath caught. The mark, it was real. She had marked him. How was that even possible?Surprise and confusion flickered through her eyes."How is this even possible?" she thought to herself.Inside her, Snow stir

Aria stood in front of the mirror, her reflection staring right back at her.The soft glow from the wall candles danced across her skin, highlighting every delicate curve the red lingerie clung to.It was… simple, yet dangerously beautiful. The fabric was a deep, rich crimson– thin and silky, resting gently against her skin like a second layer. Fine lace traced along the edges, forming intricate patterns that barely concealed anything, yet revealed just enough to drive anyone wild. The straps rested lightly on her shoulders, while the fabric hugged her waist before falling softly against her thighs.Aria swallowed, she was endowed and she knew it, but seeing herself like this made her heart race. She couldn't even imagine the look on Cain's face when he sees her like this.Especially with the light makeup that Mariella had done to enhance her beauty. Her lips were slightly tinted red– matching the lingerie color, her lashes darker, her cheeks holding a soft glow. Her hair fell loosely

Kael stirred slowly on the soft, warm bed as a faint, low groan escaped his lips as he shifted on the bed.His brows became knitted together when an instant dull, persistent ache pulsed through his head, spreading from his temples to the back of his skull. For a few seconds, he remained still, eyes still closed as he tried to steady his breathing and gather himself, but the discomfort– the pain refused to fade. Instead, it lingered, heavy and unsettling, like a warning he could not yet understand. With a quiet exhale, he finally opened his eyes and the first thing that struck him was the unfamiliar ceiling above him.He pushed himself up from the bed, ignoring the dizziness that followed the movement. "This isn't my chamber." he mumbled. He took in his surroundings quickly.Hair brush, clips and other accessories arranged neatly on a small table with other things which he found very unfamiliar.Gowns neatly arranged on a hanger at the corner of the room. And with it, realization began

Aria took a steady breath, pushed the door open, and stepped quietly out of her chamber into the quiet chamber.Just as she turned to leave, she bumped into something or rather someone."Ouch!!" she whined. "That's hurt." she mumbled rubbing her forehead as she slowly glanced up."Cain?! What are you doing here?" she gasped. "Why do you look like this?"Cain stood before her, hair disheveled and eyes filled with worry from searching everywhere. His uneven breathing and tense expression made it clear he had been looking for her desperately. Yet, the moment his gaze locked onto hers, relief flooded openly in his eyes, as he let out a sigh."Cai...He interrupted her by pulling her into a tight hug which she returned, slowly patting his back. He tightened the hug, as he was afraid that release her would make her disappear.Though tight, Aria remained calm and slowly allowed him to calm down."I searched everywhere for you?" he muttered, still hugging her with his eyes close– although he

Aria let out a soft, low breath as she carefully placed her cup on the table, the laughter from the joyous people and music continued around her."I'll be back," she murmured to Cain, offering him a small smile."Where are you going?" he asked."I want to pick up something and it's a secret. You will see it later." she responded still maintaining her smile. He nodded, his attention briefly following her retreating figure before he was pulled back into conversation by the elders around him.Not far from them, Alpha Kael watched. The moment he saw her walk away from the crowd, a slow smirk curled at the corner of his lips, dark satisfaction flickering in his gaze. He lifted his cup lazily, taking a final sip before setting it aside with quiet finality. Then he rose gently, with the smirk still plastered across his face.Without a word to anyone, he moved through the crowd, walking pass everyone yet his eyes never left Aria's figure as she walked ahead, unaware of the fact that he was of

As Alpha Kael's voice rang out, rich with authority."Let the festival begin", the courtyard erupted into life.Drums beat louder, laughter rose, and dancers moved with renewed energy under the glowing crescent moon.No one was left out from the joyous celebration. Everyone seemed to forget about the mysterious killer and the fact that they could be attacked on a day like this.Amidst the celebration, Kael's gaze shifted– it moved slowly across the crowd then stopped on a maid.Just like every other maid, she carried a tray of drinks, serving everyone she came across. But unlike them, she wasn't at ease. Her fingers fidgeted restlessly against the tray, her grip tightening and loosening as though she was trying to steady herself. Her steps were careful, almost hesitant, and though her head was bowed, there was tension written all over her.Like someone forced into something she could not escape. And when Kael's eyes locked with her, she froze unable to look away. Her heart pounded har
