Lyra

The smell of burning flesh choked the air.

It clung to my throat with every breath I took, thick and suffocating, carrying the metallic scent of blood so strongly that my stomach twisted violently.

I stood frozen in what looked like a wasteland. My breathing became uneven as I slowly turned around.

Where was I?

I looked down at myself.

The white dress I wore was smeared with blood. Dark stains spread across the cloth, soaking the hem and streaking across my trembling hands.

I stumbled back

  • Rejected By The Alpha, Crowned By Fate   Till We Meet Again

LyraKael blinked quickly, forcing the tears back before giving me a reassuring smile. But somehow, that smile hurt even more, and made my heart ache. The engine finally started.Slowly, the car began moving.I turned around in my seat and looked through the rear window.Kael stood there watching the car leave.Mother stood beside Agnes.Gwen was still holding Craig's hand.Everyone I loved was there… watching me leave.Their faces carried the same sadness I felt inside.A strange sense of déjà vu washed over me.Suddenly, I was back at the mountain resort, back on that terrible night. The night Samuel had driven away with me after the ferals attacked.Back then, I had climbed into a car with nothing but sorrow and confusion weighing down my heart.I had been terrified, lost, and broken. I hadn't known where my life was going or what I was supposed to do next. But this time was different. This time, I knew exactly what I wanted. I wasn't running away… I was moving towards my purpose.M

  • Rejected By The Alpha, Crowned By Fate   Final Goodbye

Lyra“Mother, please… stop crying.”Mother sniffed back another sob, but the tears continued to roll down her cheeks as I held her tightly in my arms and slowly walked toward the car waiting outside. The moment we stepped outside, my heart nearly broke all over again.Agnes and Gwen were already waiting beside the car.Gwen was openly sobbing, her face buried against Craig's chest as he held her firmly in his arms. Agnes stood a few feet away, her head turned toward the side… she didn't want anyone to see her crying, yet the handkerchief in her hand betrayed her, gently dabbing at the tears slipping down her cheeks. My vision immediately blurred. Seeing them like this made leaving suddenly feel so much harder. These were the people I had come to love.I quickly tilted my face toward the sky, blinking several times as I fought to keep the tears from falling. Not again. If I started crying now, I knew I wouldn't be able to stop. Taking a deep breath, I forced a small laugh and looked

  • Rejected By The Alpha, Crowned By Fate   Let Me Love You, My Queen

Kael“Alpha, another one has fallen.”Elder Peter's voice came through the phone, his tone carrying a mixture of disbelief and satisfaction.I leaned back against the headboard, listening carefully.“Council Elder Henry,” he continued. “Evidence has surfaced online showing that he was privately funding Late Alpha Jacob's feral research. The evidence is overwhelming. He has already been stripped of his council title, and he's currently being interrogated.”“Good.”For the past five months, the truth had been slowly crawling out of the shadows. One after another, the wolves hiding behind respectable titles and reputations were finally being exposed. Two council elders had already been identified as secret financiers of Jacob's research. Two other influential Alphas had also been implicated. Some of them had tried to deny everything. Others had attempted to bury the evidence, but the truth always had a way of finding its way into the light. The realm was finally beginning to see just how

  • Rejected By The Alpha, Crowned By Fate   Gwen's Truth

LyraEvery eye was practically on Gwen after we told the men to excuse us first. Our minds were still trying to process what we had heard. Who could have thought that the quiet, reserved, incredibly efficient Beta who barely spoke more than necessary was the father of Gwen's child? How had we missed this?I turned toward her.“Why? Why didn't you tell us?”Agnes stepped closer. “Did Craig threaten you? Did he tell you not to say anything?”Gwen lifted her eyes and shook her head.“He never threatened me.”Agnes exchanged a confused glance with me.I slowly walked closer to Gwen.“Gwen… You can't keep doing this.”Her eyes flickered.“You're a mother now. Your son needs both parents. If Craig hasn't done anything to hurt you, you can't keep shutting him out without telling us why.”Her fingers tightened around the blanket wrapped around her baby.“Keeping us in the dark isn't going to solve anything. And if Craig genuinely wants to be part of his son's life, he deserves that chance. Y

  • Rejected By The Alpha, Crowned By Fate   The Child's Father

Lyra“It’s a boy!”Agnes rushed out of the hospital room with the biggest smile on her face, her voice ringing through the hallway. The entire corridor erupted in cheers.“A boy!”“Congratulations!”“Thank the Moon Goddess!”Laughter and excited voices filled the air, washing away the tension that had hung over us for what felt like hours.A huge smile spread across my face as happiness surged through me. Without thinking, I turned toward Mother and wrapped my arms around her.“He’s here,” I whispered, laughing softly through the tears gathering in my eyes.Mother hugged me tightly, her own eyes shining with joy. “It’s a blessed day.”It truly was. After everything that had happened over the past few months—the battle, the deaths, the betrayals, the pain—it felt almost surreal to stand there surrounded by happiness.Soon, we were ushered inside.Gwen lay exhausted against the pillows, her hair damp and sticking slightly to her forehead. Beads of sweat still glistened along her temples

  • Rejected By The Alpha, Crowned By Fate   Their Resilient Luna

MayaThe car slowly came to a stop.I lifted my head from the window and looked outside. My eyes caught sight of the familiar boundary markers in the distance. We had crossed the pack's border.Everything that had happened over the past few hours felt like something I had watched in a movie. It had happened so quickly that my mind was still struggling to catch up.I looked ahead through the windshield and noticed another car parked a short distance away.Kane glanced at it before turning slightly toward me.“That car is waiting for you,” he said. “We've arranged for it to take you wherever you want to go from here.”“Oh, thank you.”The words felt inadequate. How could two people I had barely known for a few months have done so much for me?My gaze shifted toward Yasmine, who was sitting in the passenger seat. She suddenly turned toward Kane. “Did you bring the stuff?”Kane nodded. “Of course.”He reached into his pocket and pulled out a thick envelope. Yasmine took it from him, then

  • Rejected By The Alpha, Crowned By Fate   The Mate I Never Wanted

KaelI couldn’t believe it.Out of all the cruel jokes the Moon Goddess could have played on me, this had to be the worst one yet.Nine years.Nine fucking years of waiting for the woman destined to stand beside me as Luna.My fated mate. And now that I had finally found her…She was wolfless. The

  • Rejected By The Alpha, Crowned By Fate   The Alpha of Stormfang

LyraMy whole world collapsed in one night.I sat silently in the backseat of Samuel’s car as the dark road stretched endlessly ahead of us. My mind kept replaying the same horrifying images over and over again until I felt like I was suffocating beneath them.My fingers tightened around the silver

  • Rejected By The Alpha, Crowned By Fate   The Night I Lost Everything

LyraA piercing scream yanked me out of sleep. My eyes snapped as the sound echoed through the resort walls—raw, sharp, and filled with unbearable agony. For a moment, I lay frozen in bed, my heart pounding heavily against my chest. What was going on?I jumped out of bed immediately and tied the s

  • Rejected By The Alpha, Crowned By Fate   The Center Of It All

Kael“Fucking asshole!”I rubbed my temple in irritation as Asher's furious voice exploded inside my head.“Will you shut up already?”The damn mutt had been yelling at me nonstop ever since I left Lyra's room.“No, I won’t shut up!” Asher barked furiously. “What the hell was that?”I shot back, “Y
