Anne’s body was taken to the center of the pack house and burned to ashes for everyone in the pack to see.

A lot of people gathered and watch the body burn to nothing, and handled like a commoner.

Some stood hands akimbo, especially the women, watching with sadness in their facial expression while some were happy and celebrated the demise of Anne, Alpha Dakota late mate and wife, wishing to be the new Alpha’s Luna.

Alpha Dakota didn’t give his late mate a befitting burial like the normal traditional way, as mate should bury a mate if they were dead.

He was glad she was out of the way even if he felt hurting but tried not to let any emotions get into him.

He thought of the things he would do to Selene, his weak daughter.

He also thought on how he would use Selene to get the power he want from Alpha Damon, by marrying her off to him only to gain his good side, then strike when he don’t expect, he thought inwardly with a smirk on his face.
