Healed Her

I lifted the tiny girl in my arms and headed down to the pack house with the others trailing behind me.

"Get the pack doctor now. And bring him to my room." I said in a hoarse tone as I ordered Christian who growled defiantly before bowing and leaving the woods in the direction of the pack doctor's house.

"The rest of you, go back to your posts. I'll take her from here." I said, glancing down at the girl who rested innocently in my arms.

I could barely feel her weight against my arm, she weighed close to nothing as I carried her in bridal style. Her long dark lashes lay against her rounded cheeks that were still tinted red from earlier. Her lips were dry and I wanted to run my tongue along them to wet it.

I frowned at the thoughts that filled my head and I walked at a faster pace in the woods and into the pack house. It was already late and everyone had gone to sleep save for those watching the pack.
