My Ex In Disguise

Ophelia's POV

Her low growl echoed inside my mind, making me frown. I looked at the employee again. Everything about him appeared normal. His uniform was neat, his posture was respectful, and he never once looked directly at me.

Even so, the uneasy feeling inside me refused to disappear. Why was Amare reacting like this?

She had been peaceful all evening, and my wolf never growled without a reason.

Maybe I was overthinking it. So I tried discarding the thought.

"Please come in," I said, steppi

Nicolai's POVThe hallway was silent except for the steady sound of my footsteps. Ophelia rested against my chest, her fingers still gripping my shirt as though letting go would somehow bring Morris back.My wolf, Alex, had gone unusually quiet. That unsettled me more than his rage. He remained alert inside me, testing every scent drifting through the hallway, refusing to let Morris's trail disappear. He escaped. His low growl echoed through my mind. For now.I knew exactly what he meant. Alex was patient when he needed to be, but he never forgot an enemy who had harmed someone under our protection. The private elevator waited at the end of the hallway. When the doors opened, I stepped inside without putting Ophelia down. She shifted slightly in my arms before lowering her eyes."You can put me down now." Her voice was barely above a whisper."I can walk."I lowered my head and looked at her. "You're injured.""It's only my back.""An injury is still an injury."She opened her mouth

  • Rejected For Being PlusSize Omega, Now The Alpha's Obsession   Roar Of My Alpha Husband

Ophelia's POV The sound was so powerful that every window rattled, and the crystal chandelier hanging above us swayed violently. The overwhelming Alpha pressure crashed over the room like a storm. Even Amare instinctively lowered herself before immediately lifting her head again. The next thing I saw was Morris being ripped away from me. His body flew across the room with terrifying force before crashing through the open doorway and slamming into the hallway wall. The impact echoed through the entire floor. I stared in shock. Everything had happened so fast that my mind struggled to catch up.A familiar scent of cedarwood and winter pine filled the room, replacing the bitter scent Morris had left behind. Relief washed over me."Nicolai..."He stood in the ruined doorway, his broad shoulders blocking the entrance. For a brief moment, he did not look entirely human. His icy blue eyes glowed with an unnatural light, while dark veins spread beneath the skin of his neck and along his hand

Why was Amare reacting like this? She had been peaceful all evening, and my wolf never growled without a reason.Maybe I was overthinking it. So I tried discarding the thought."Please come in," I said, stepping aside. The employee entered quietly and carried the box into the bedroom before placing it carefully on the bedside table."Alpha Nicolai instructed me to make sure it was delivered safely.""Thank you," I replied with a grateful smile. He gave a small nod but said nothing else, while my attention shifted to the beautifully wrapped box. I smiled to myself. Nicolai really had thought of everything.I barely paid attention to him again as I expected him to leave already, while my thoughts were

  • Rejected For Being PlusSize Omega, Now The Alpha's Obsession   Something Is Wrong

Ophelia's POV With that said, the attendants walked toward one of the flower-covered walls, as one of them reached between the thick evergreen garlands and pressed something I could not see.A soft click followed. Then the wall shifted just enough for a narrow door to swing inward. I blinked in surprise.I had not even noticed it while we were on the rooftop. Hidden behind it was another elevator, unlike the one downstairs, this elevator looked different. There were no buttons marked for hotel guests, only a polished silver panel with a handful of controls. Everything about it felt private. Even without anyone saying a word, I knew this elevator was reserved for Alpha Nicolai. One of the attendants stepped inside and pressed a button. The doors closed almost immediately, shutting out the music from the rooftop as the elevator began its quiet descent.Neither of the attendants spoke. The silence was comfortable rather than awkward, giving me too much time to think. My eyes drifted to

  • Rejected For Being PlusSize Omega, Now The Alpha's Obsession   Dancing With The Alpha

Ophelia's POV"Can I have this dance, my Luna?"I looked up from the last sip of wine in my glass and met Alpha Nicolai's calm blue eyes. For a second, I just stared at him."You want to dance?" I asked softly.A faint smile tugged at the corner of his lips. "I do."I glanced toward the musicians he had invited only a few minutes ago. A violinist, a pianist, and a cellist stood quietly at one side of the rooftop, filling the air with a soft, peaceful melody."I'm really not good at dancing, Alpha Nicolai.""I'll lead," he said quietly. The calm authority in his Alpha voice left little room for argument. He held out his hand. I looked at it for a moment before slipping mine into his.His fingers closed gently around my hand. Without saying anything else, he led me to the open space in the middle of the rooftop. The attendants quietly moved farther away after clearing the table of the used plates and the remainder of the food left, before giving us some privacy while the musicians kept

  • Rejected For Being PlusSize Omega, Now The Alpha's Obsession   Wasn't A Kiss

Ophelia's POVA soft gasp escaped my lips before I could stop it. I remained standing inside the elevator, unable to move. The rooftop before me looked like a dream. Everywhere I looked, warm Christmas lights sparkled like tiny stars in the snowy night. Green garlands were wrapped around white pillars, and bright red ribbons and golden ornaments made everything feel warm and peaceful.Fresh snow rested along the edges of the rooftop garden, untouched except for a narrow path leading toward the glowing arch. Every lantern reflected across the snow until the entire rooftop shimmered beneath the winter sky.It looked like something that belonged in the glossy pages of a magazine.Only this one was real.I slowly looked up. At the entrance stood a beautiful white arch covered with flowers and Christmas greenery. Across the top, written in large gold letters that shimmered under the lights, were the words:Presented to the Luna of Stormridge. Happy Married Life.Another quiet gasp escaped
