Alpha Roland's Pov

The fume indicated that she had been poisoned orally, but how could this happen? She was okay a few minutes ago. I instructed my men to free her from the chains. Her heavy body fell to the ground with a loud thud! Blood flowed out of the orifices of her body. This was a clear sign of poisoning.

Who was responsible for this? I had made her a promise to protect her family, she was about telling me everything. How then did the tables turn? “Fuck!” I gnashed my teeth in anger. A bitter feeling rushed through, as I swallowed my anger and kept silent for a while. My mind was disrupted with a lost of negative thought, I felt so useless in my own pack. This pause, was just for a moment, as I tried to keep calm.
