Mira's Pov

I felt a wave of uneasiness as I thought about the conspiracy to take my life. The feeling of being in danger was persistent and deeply troubling. I could tell how much I have gone through the little time I stayed in the pack. What kept going was the thought of Roland.

The idea of anything bad happening to our beautiful love fills me with terror. "Pull yourself together, Mira," I said, thinking about how much effort I had put into ensuring the safety of my new relationship with Roland. I couldn't have done it without understanding the value of our relationship, which is the most amazing I've ever had.

Despite the uncertainties, there have been moments of joy and harmony between Roland and me. However, I couldn't help but wonder what would happen if things took a turn for the worse.

Various thoughts entered my mind, but I refused to entertain them. Dwelling on them would only drive me nuts. Instead, I focused on the fast pace at which everything was progressing.
