Mag-log inThis book has finally been completed. Can't believe it did. Makes me emotional thinking I have to say goodbye to this story. This my second longest book. I'm grateful to all of you kept reading this book even when the updates were inconsistent. I wish I could have been more consistent with the updating schedule but life happened so I couldn't write frequently. Thank to you all the ones who read, voted with gems, unlocked the chapters and commented and made me know they love this book. You are the reason I kept going. If not for you, I wonder how hard the journey would have been for me. So thank you for making it so beautiful and worthwhile. I might write the future installment of these storylines but for now I'll leave this series here. If you like my writing and want to be updated about my future stories, you can connect with me on I****G--author_pixie and F****B-- author pixie. I'm currently preparing a new book so stay connected to know when it's going to be released. You can
VENUSThe afternoon sun bathes the rolling farmlands of the royal pack in warm gold.Hundreds of farmers stand gathered in front of the newly built agricultural center. Beyond them stretch endless fields of wheat swaying with the breeze, vegetable patches bursting with color, and orchards that have begun to bloom once again after years of neglect.I stand on the wooden stage overlooking them. "...and this is why the Royal Council has approved the Agricultural Development Project." The large screen behind me lights up with blueprints of irrigation systems, automated harvesting machines, soil-enrichment programs, and new research centers."We're introducing modern irrigation, improved storage facilities, advanced farming equipment, and agricultural specialists who will work directly with every village. No farmer should have to struggle alone."Murmurs spread through the crowd.I continue. "As for the proposal submitted by the Hawthorne Corporation..." The businessmen standing near the b
VENUSAlex whistles louder than anyone. Sydney squeals excitedly. Mom cries even harder. Dad pretends he isn't wiping away his tears. Nana smiles with quiet satisfaction. The cheers and laughter from the celebration drift across the lakeside as Rowan and I make our way back from the altar. Music plays in the distance while couples dance beneath strings of crystal lights, and servants weave between guests carrying trays of champagne and desserts.I barely have time to catch my breath before another ceremony begins. The coronation. The same platform where we exchanged our vows has been transformed once again. The white floral arch remains, but now the priest's altar has been replaced with an ancient marble pedestal engraved with the crest of Fenrisa. Silver banners bearing the royal wolf flutter gently in the evening breeze while hundreds of white candles line both sides of the platform. The atmosphere changes. It no longer feels like a wedding. It feels...historic.The Grand Priest rais
VENUSThe entire garden has transformed into something that belongs in a dream.A long white aisle stretches across the emerald grass like a ribbon of silk, leading toward an elevated platform built right at the lake's edge. Beyond it, the water glitters beneath the morning sun, its surface rippling gently whenever the breeze dances across it.Towering cherry blossom trees bloom on either side of the aisle, their ivory and blush-colored petals drifting lazily through the air like snowflakes. White roses, lilies, peonies and hydrangeas overflow from elegant marble planters lining the pathway, filling the air with their delicate perfume.Thousands of tiny crystal strands hang from graceful white arches, catching the sunlight and scattering rainbows across the garden. Rows of ivory chairs are filled with guests dressed in elegant attire, all facing the altar framed by flowering vines and the endless blue lake beyond it.We start walking. Each step echoes softly against the white aisle. I
VENUSI smile softly at my reflection. There truly couldn't be a more perfect beginning.A gentle knock echoes through the room. Before I can answer, the doors slowly swing open."May we come in?"I immediately recognize my mother's voice. A smile spreads across my face. "Mom."Mom steps inside first, dressed in a flowing yellow gown embroidered with brown vines. Behind her walk Aunt Irene and Aunt Dory, both dressed elegantly for the occasion. The three of them stop in their tracks.Silence fills the room.Mom's emerald eyes slowly well with tears. "My Goddess..." She presses a hand over her mouth. She slowly walks toward me, unable to take her eyes off me. "You look exactly like a Goddess."Aunt Irene laughs warmly. "Well…She is named after the Goddess of love."Mom lets out a watery laugh before nodding. "I suppose that's true."Aunt Irene comes over and circles me once. "My, my..." She whistles. "Rowan is going to completely forget there are guests attending this wedding."I imme
VENUS“See? Daisy gets it. Also, you’re one to talk when you are literally mated to an older man as well.” I narrow my eyes on her. She blushes, touching her shoulder blade and I notice the mark on it. Nile marked her after the battle was over to claim her. When he saw Rowan and my love being stronger than our oath, he decided he won’t let something as old and insignificant promise stop him from getting the love he wanted. Also, practically, he didn’t really break the General’s oath because he wasn’t one when he claimed her. Taking Nile and Rowan’s positions away temporarily somehow worked out in our favor. A soft laugh echoes inside my head. "You humans are amusing."I smile without realizing. Celeste. Since my shift, speaking to her has become as natural as talking to another person standing beside me. Sometimes I even forget no one else can hear her."Thinking about him already?" she teases."I am literally getting married today. We are. ""Fair point. But I’m already bonded to A
VENUSRowan doesn’t even look at him. His eyes stay on me, steady and unreadable. “Do you want to participate in the hunt, Venus?”My heart flips. What kind of question is that?“I… of course I would,” I say, blinking. “But I can’t. So why are you asking?”He asks again, voice calm. “Do you want to
VENUSRowan tells me to continue, and I force myself to breathe steadily. This time, I will keep my mind clear. I won’t allow any wandering thoughts and any distractions. I focus on him, while doing my best to connect to the forest and the rhythm of my movement. He rushes forward first. His foot cu
VENUSSleep takes me before I can decide. In my dreams, I’m back in the garden of my old pack. The scent of roses still lingers, but the blooms are wilted now, their petals drooping like they’re mourning something I can’t name. The moonlight bathes everything in pale silver, yet it feels colder tha
VENUS“I understand your feelings. Mallory’s behavior has changed.” I mutter while we walk ahead. But that’s the reason I didn’t push it too far. I could have spoken against her but with the power she holds now, it’ll be stupidity. If there’s anything that I have learnt so far from my mistakes, it
