Chapter twenty seven

Elora POV

“Elora?” A voice called out to me, and I looked up. It felt like a dream. I had to be dreaming right? I said to myself but this was too good to be fake. Anxiously, I pinch my brows if maybe I would snap out of this dream, but it wasn’t working.

My weak body finally found the strength to stand on its own. I felt revitalized. A lantern of hope was lit inside me.

“Ario? Is that you?” I said in shock as just like me, Sarah stood by the side looking at him. She didn’t understand what was going on, but she could see I knew that person.

“You are hurt? Who did this to you?” He asked, but I ignored what he said and reached out for a hug. His broad shoulder welcomed me in while his hand wrapped around my back, making me feel secure.

It has been this long since I had such a feeling and just now I was reminded of how good it was.

“I have missed you,” I said to him, hugging tightly as though I wanted to merge our bodies.
