3 - Pregnant Without Mate

"You must do a body examination before officially becoming our contract mate." William Octavius stood in front of my room and uttered those words.

Exactly a week since Matthias slept in my room, it was the first time I received new orders from the five Alphas. Throughout this time, I kept thinking about what happened that night.

Did Matthias really sleep with me? What if I'm pregnant? We haven't made any contractual agreements about this relationship; I can't be pregnant outside of that contract.

"Excuse me, Your Majesty. I need to examine your body." A female doctor approached me, carrying a bag of medical tools.

Inside my room, the four Alphas who would become my mates were here. Except for Matthias, of course. I underwent the examination in front of the four Alphas: Nathaniel Demetrius, Frederick Valerian, Arthur Leonidas, and William Octavius.

My heart pounded with fear about the results of my body examination. I couldn't let these four Alphas know what had happened between me and Matthias a week ago!

"M-Matthias?" I muttered his name. My gaze was shocked when I saw Matthias inside the golden carriage. He wasn't alone but with a beautiful Omega dressed like a royal princess.

I immediately remembered Estella, the name of the Omega Matthias mentioned when he slept with me. Watching Theodosius residents welcome them, my heartache intensified.

Moreover, there was already a baby living in my stomach. Without his knowledge, I was pregnant with Matthias' child. But he already had another Omega. Should I run away to hide this pregnancy? Matthias certainly wouldn't want to marry me.

The horse-drawn carriage Matthias rode stopped right in front of me. I fell silent, not knowing we would meet in a place like this. "Who is she?" The Omega asked Matthias, her face showing strong dislike towards me still standing there.

'Does he remember that night? He can't possibly know I'm pregnant with his child, right? He can not know about this baby. If he does, the entire kingdom won't forgive me,' my inner with a trembling heart.

"I don't know her," Matthias answered with his cold voice that hurt my feelings. "Just ignore her. She's probably just an unimportant Omega who's trash in my kingdom."

Just imagine it, we slept together, and I am pregnant with his child, yet Matthias said such cruel things and remembered nothing. And I couldn't escape from here because I had no place to go back to. I could only stay silent. Seeing Matthias' intimacy without remembering anything, with his Omega lover.

"Matthias!"

I was surprised and turned, finding Arthur walking toward us, calling Matthias with his friendly tone. They both immediately chatted amicably, ignoring me. Only when I was about to step away, Arthur pulled my hand.

He embraced my waist in front of Matthias. At that moment, I hoped I was mistaken. But even though it was only a few seconds, I could see Matthias' angry expression seeing Arthur hug my body so casually.

"What condition are you talking about?" I turned to him, shocked by what Arthur mentioned so casually.

"Don't you know?" Arthur, in turn, asked me. "Prince Matthias is predicted to be unable to have children. He is also predicted to win the fight and become the next king. That's why everyone in this kingdom is looking for an Omega who can bear his child. That's why, I brought you here."

My body felt like it was struck by lightning hearing that.

Matthias is infertile? Predicted to be unable to have children? I just found out about this now! How could I not know all this time!?

Then why could I get pregnant so easily? What if everything is according to Arthur's prediction, that I am destined to bear an heir for him?
