Chapter 12

Kai raised his hand to hit Lucas, but Astrid immediately interfered.

"Don't even think about it!" She warned dangerously. "I don't want you in my company Kai, do us all a favor and return those shares to Mr Sean."

Kai brought down his hand, then he stared deeply into Astrid's eyes.

"The shares already belong to me and it's going to stay that way, I don't care how hard you try to push me away, I won't let you go Astrid and I won't sit still and let you be with him." He glared at Lucas.

"Don't you have a mate home to return to? Don't make the same mistake with her, return home to your Luna." She said.

Lucas took her hand and they both left.

Seeing them walk away, while holding each other's hand made Kai's heart ache with so much pain, but there was nothing he could do than to watch.

When Astrid and Lucas got to her office, he let go of her hand.

Astrid ruffled her hair in frustration. "Why won't he just let me be!?" She sighed.

"Just calm down Astrid, we'll find a way to resolve this."
