"So, how was your first day at the company?" Dan asked the moment Kai got into the car.

"What can I say? With Lucas around, the day is always bound to be terrible, I just feel his help to Astrid isn't genuine."

"You'll have to take things slow Kai, nothing you say to Astrid will make her hate him." Dan cautioned and Kai sighed deeply.

"I'm not trying to get her to hate him, I just want her to be careful of him, he keeps calling himself her would be husband and my blood boils each time he says that."
