Ella‘s POV

I curled up, hugging myself. Although I didn't want to admit it, deep down, I missed Kevin. But I was afraid of repeating the mistakes of five years ago, afraid of being hurt again. So, in order not to be an Omega waiting to be bullied and abandoned, I had to move forward.

Cheer up, my little wolf. You're not a worthless mute Omega; you will become a great female warrior.

I remembered my mother's encouragement, and my eyes turned red instantly. If she were still alive, she would surely support my decision.

The next morning dawned bright as I stepped out into the estate. The housekeeper greeted me with a warm smile, handing me a set of dresses neatly folded.

"These are for you, my dear. As the new physician, it's time you dress the part. Alpha Oscar likes his staff to be presentable," she said with a kind twinkle in her eyes.
