Eva's POV.

I sat by the garden, my fingers lightly tracing the edge of the stone bench beneath me. The rising sun was warm, but there was an odd chill inside me that nothing could quite banish. Lady Isabella's words kept echoing in my mind, haunting me with their implications. Every time I thought I had a handle on the situation, her smile, so cold and knowing, would creep back into my thoughts.

Did they really see me as some pawn to be used in their game against Nicklaus? It made my stomach twist uncomfortably. I wasn’t some fragile, naive girl. I wasn’t a simple tool to be manipulated, because I don't have a wolf doesn't mean I'm that weak, and I really don't think they know that I'm wolfless, why then do they think me this naive?

My mind raced with those thoughts, the feeling of unease gnawing at me.

I let out a sigh, pushing the thoughts aside. I didn’t need this. I needed a little peace from the haunting thoughts. But that was becoming harder to find.

Nicklaus's legs twitched as he gripped the reins of the carriage, the wind whipping through his hair as the horses galloped toward the estate. He was furious. He had been deep in a meeting finalizing some last-minute details for the mating ceremony when his guards came in, informing him that Aragorn was causing havoc in the training hall. That man was reckless at the best of times, but tonight of all nights? The very thought made his blood pressure spike.“Damn it, Aragorn,” he muttered under his breath as the carriage turned up the long driveway leading to his house. “You had to pick tonight, didn’t you?”The entire trip back, he could think of only one thing: Eva.She was probably pacing the room by now, wondering why he was late. He could already imagine the disappointment on her face, he’d promised her they’d go to the grand hall together, and he had broken that promise.“She's going to be so mad,” he murmured to himself, forcing his shoulders to relax. The carriage screeched to

Eva's POV.The carriage wheels rolled softly over the uneven gravel road, I sat silently, my hands pressed against my lap to still their trembling. Every second that passed felt heavier, pulling me closer to the grand hall and the ceremony that would change everything. But the nerves weren’t the only thing gnawing at me.I’d been down this road to the grand hall several times before, and as I peered out the carriage window, something didn’t feel right. The landscape was unfamiliar. My brows furrowed, and I leaned forward slightly. “Wait a second,” I blurted. “This isn’t the usual route to the grand hall.”The taller man seated across from me looked up, his expression annoyingly calm. “The usual road is currently under construction, my lady,” he explained smoothly. “This is the alternate route everyone is taking.”“Construction?” I repeated, disbelieving. “That’s strange. I didn’t hear anything about it, and this road.” I gestured out the window at the dense trees lining both sides "it

Eva's POV.The stylists were finally done with me.I sat still for a long moment, staring at my reflection in the mirror before me as the final pins were adjusted in my hair. My breath caught a little as I took in the sight of myself. The dress... a flowing gown of deep silver and white silk, hugged my curves gracefully before spilling to the floor. The delicate embroidery traced along my bodice shimmered faintly with tiny crystals, and the lace sleeves clung to my arms.My hair was tamed into soft, flowing curls that fell down my back.I looked… beautiful. Ethereal, even.“Perfect,” one of the stylists murmured as she stepped back to admire her work. “You’re glowing, Lady Eva.”Another nodded enthusiastically. "His highness won’t be able to take his eyes off you.”I blushed at their words, unable to stop the smile tugging at my lips. “Thank you,” I said softly. “You all did an incredible job.”The group of them bowed their heads respectfully, then said their goodbyes and last-minute

Eva's POV.It had been a week since Nicklaus and I decided on our mating ceremony, and the news had spread like wildfire. Everywhere I went, I could hear the whispers, some voices filled with excitement, others tinged with disbelief and envy, but it didn’t matter. This ceremony wasn’t about anyone else. It was about Nicklaus and I.The pack was invited, of course; but there were also exclusive invitations for the higher-ranking members of the pack and other important guests. I’d insisted on personally helping with the sharing of some of these invitations, partly because I wanted to feel useful and partly because I just enjoyed being part of the process. So that afternoon, I was walking down the secluded path leading to the quarters where some of the elders resided; two of Nicklaus’s guards trailed behind me at a respectful distance. Their presence was both comforting and frustrating at the same time; I was still getting used to constantly being watched over.“Lady Eva,” one of them ca

Eva's POV.I woke up the next morning in Nicklaus’s arms, the warmth of his strong body pressed against mine. For a moment, I didn’t move. His arm was slung protectively over my waist, his breath steady against the crook of my neck, and I felt my heart squeeze at how safe I felt. Then the memories of last night suddenly crashed into my mind.I stiffened, my breath hitching. Heat flooded my cheeks as I remembered the things Nicklaus had done to my body, how he had touched me in ways I had only ever dreamed of, and how I had responded, without a shred of restraint. My entire body recoiled slightly as I realized the things we had done, the noises that must have left my lips, things I wouldn't have done with anyone else, because Nicklaus alone brings that part of me out effortlessly.I buried my face in the pillow, groaning quietly, goodness, I can never look him in the eye again.A low rumble vibrated against my back. Nicklaus shifted behind me, his hold tightening as if he sensed I was

Eva's POV."hold your boobs out for me, Love." He suddenly blurted and casted him a quick glance. What is he up to now? My face burnt with shame as I shuffled forward between his spread legs, bringing my chest up to his groin level. His cock stood tall and menacing, slick with my saliva, twitching with each heartbeat. I hesitated, unsure how to proceed."Like this," he blurted, grabbing my wrists and placing my hands on either side of my boobs. "Squish them together around that cock, sweetheart."I sunk my fingers into the soft flesh of my tits, feeling them yield under the pressure as I press them together to create a deep, pale cleavage. Nicklaus grabbed his cock and guided it into the channel I've created, the hot, pulsing shaft nestling between my breasts like a snake burrowing into warm earth."Fuuuuck," he groaned as his cockhead emerges from the top of my cleavage, leaking a fresh bead of precum. "Now move them up and down, Love." Nicklaus is really out to introduce me to ev
