Chapter 6: Pregnant

"What did you say?" Alpha Shawn jumped from the dining, hearing the words of Sheila.

"Your second daughter, the princess is sick," Sheila said again

"Second daughter." Former Alpha Rupert and Luna Iris asked, Alpha Shawn looked at them, he didn't tell them anything about Thalia, he only said, he is having a marriage alliance with his daughter.

"I am sorry Alpha Shawn, I didn't mean to appear unannounced, it's just that I don't know what to do with my lady, she felt nauseous and dizzy, she was unable to stand steady and she fainted, she..." Sheila's lips were trembling, kneeling before the royal family.

"Sheila, stop explaining, you should know that she needs the Pack physician, not father and if you are not stupid, you should know that we have guests, you shouldn't appear in front of a royal guest like an idiot, so get lost." Rani Snarled slapping her hand across her face, Todd moved his gaze to her, and for the first time, Todd glance at her, although he knew that they are two women sitting at the table when he arrived and that one out of the two might be his chosen mate, he didn't pay her attention, Todd expression was unreadable, that you couldn't tell if he is mad or fine with the act of Rani, since everyone regard him as ruthless and heartless but Luna Alia wanted to play safe, she just wants her daughter to be perfect in the eyes of Luna Iris since it seemed she is the one not comfortable with Rani's outburst, Luna Alia pressed Rani's hand, reminding her to control herself.

"I am sorry..." Sheila apologized, and Luna Alia raised her hand.

"It's fine, come on let's go," Luna Alia said to Sheila, Alpha Shawn was still restless, he wanted to go to his favorite daughter and he was worried. "Alpha Shawn, you shouldn't walked out on our guest, it's disrespectful to walk out on our guest and come to think of it, we have two alpha in our present and his Luna." Luna Alia wanted to control the tense situation.

"Oh, I am sorry alpha Rupert, I didn't mean to disrespect you."

"It's fine, you should let the females care for your other daughter, while we continue the discussion." Former Alpha Rupert.

"Thanks for your understanding." Luna Alia bowed to leave.

"Can I come with you? Maybe, I could help?" Luna Iris asked.

"Sure." Luna Aria nodded to Luna Iris, excusing herself she left with Luna Iris, and Sheila led them to Thalia.

"Alpha Rupert, I apologize for..."

"It's fine, things happen, apart from being an alpha, we have the responsibility as a family head, so let's forget it." Former Alpha Rupert spoke, and it didn't take long for the table to become a bit calm.

"Sure, Alpha Todd, I guess you will like to take a walk with your chosen mate." "That's if she doesn't mind," Todd said, Rani who was so moisturized with Todd's handsomeness didn't hesitate before she accepted, Todd took to his feet with Rani walking in front of him.

Meanwhile, Luna Aria and Luna Iris appear in Thalia's room, her shattered hair is what meets Luna Iris's eyes, and they are lovely.

"Thalia," Luna Aria called softly at Thalia, she turned slowly and there came her lovely face, Luna Iris was carried away by her beauty but something else had hit her.

"She is pregnant." Luna Iris said Thalia jumped off the bed, running her hand over her flat tummy in disbelief, she couldn't be pregnant, her lips trembled her eyes turned red in an instant, and tears fell, she only had a one-night stand and it's barely last night, how could she be pregnant by today?

"I am not pregnant." She said fast even though the escapade between her and Todd last night invade her memory.

"No, I can't be mistaken, even though it's barely a day, and even if you get a pregnancy test, you will not find anything but you are pregnant." Luna Iris was so sure of her words, that Luna Aria grabbed Thalia's hand.

"Are you pregnant?"

"No mother, I am not pregnant." She protests. "I can't be pregnant."

"You can't be pregnant and you..." Luna Aria wanted to pull her hand again, Luna Iris stood in front of her.

"You shouldn't hurt her, let her rest, maybe, I made a mistake." Luna Iris said, but her eyes didn't leave Thalia.

"Fine, you should come out with a good explanation, if not your dad will kill you." Luna Aria's voice was calm but she was spitting fire, if she had been the only one with Thalia, she would have strangled the young lady already, Luna Aria pushed the door, leaving the room with Luna Iris.

"Princess Thalia, is it true that you are pregnant?" Sheila, the omega maid asked.

"I don't know, I can't be pregnant, I haven't..." She pushed the duvet off her body, in anger, knowing that she was no longer a virgin, and the possibility that she might be pregnant might be 50/50 but that was fast, it's barely 24 hours how could that woman know that she is pregnant?

"My lady, is everything alright?" Sheila asked as her face crumbled.

"I am fine, I just want to be left alone." Sheila was not just her maid but her best friend, they are almost the same age, she is eighteen while Sheila is nineteen. "Alright but please don't stress yourself, even if you are pregnant, I am sure, the father of the pup will accept it. I will be right here, if you need anything, just let me know." Thalia gave her a weak smile, she wished it was that easy, she wouldn't have bothered if truly she was pregnant, if the situation is not complicated. She wears her bathrobe and walks out of the room, the room is becoming so hot and small for her and she is unable to breathe, she needs her air.

"I heard that you are without a wolf and that you are a mage, so you practice magic, and above all you are..." Rani decides to have a conversation with Todd who is all quiet since they left the dining.

"Why did you hurt the omega?" Rani stared at Todd. "Didn't you know what you did was bully?" Rani tittered.

"You are a ruthless man and I heard that you are merciless when it comes to the way you treat others, and from what I have heard, you had swung your sword at your cousin from saying things that didn't go well with you, why do my actions worry you?" Todd's eyes were unfathomable, and his expression remained unchanged, her words had angered him and he wanted to strangle her right in there.

"You heard a lot of things about me, and that is the more reason, you should give answers to my questions not questions to my questions because the next thing this happens, I might swing my sword at you, and not my cousin." He turned to leave, but Rani grabbed his hand.

"Where are you going?"

"Away from the one that my soul is desperate to separate her head from her body." Todd moved his eyes to her hand that was placed on his arm, he jerked her hand off him, fear grip Rani that she didn't bother to go after Todd when he walked out from her.

Todd's anger was boiling and he felt like hurting Rani but he couldn't do that, she was going to be his Luna in a fortnight, and then the sight of Thalia, the young lady he had a one-night stand with flashed into his head

"I wondered why you have to leave without giving me, your name?" He murmured to himself, wondering in the royal castle, he ended up in the garden, but someone was sitting in the garden, she was lost in her thoughts.

"Miss, can I sit beside you."
