My jaw dropped as I heard those words come out of Asher’s mouth. What did he mean by the hunters were back in town?

That also meant there was a probability that Dimitri was attacked by the hunters. I trembled in my spot and my eyes glistened with tears.

Memories of my father’s death came clouding my memory. It was triggering for me whenever someone talked about hunters.

When Aiden realized I was about to cry, he walked to Asher and led him out of the room without saying anything.

I didn’t even notice Katie was holding my hand. Everyone knew it was such a sensitive word for me. I could never get over his death even after so many years no matter how hard I tried.

I promised to avenge his death. I was going to rip out the throat of whoever did that to my father and even if I couldn’t find the exact person, I would kill all the hunters I came across.
