The heat of the morning sun hit her face, followed by a wave of blinding light that made her frown deeply and let out a groan. “Rise and shine, sweetheart.” A familiar voice kissed her ears while soft and warm lips pressed on her cheeks several times, making her lips voluntarily tug up at the corners. She groaned again and fluttered her eyes open. Her grin morphed into a wide smile upon her gaze settling on the beautiful golden brown eyes she’d ever seen in her life. T

hey never cease to amaze her. “Good morning,” She murmured, picking the corners of her eyes, feeling conscious because the man was literally hovering before her face. “Morning, sweetheart.” He pressed another kiss on her forehead, making her blush further. She slowly willed her heart to calm down because apparently, the man didn’t even care about how she looked in the morning. He still looked at her the same way he had been since he came into her life.

“Did you sleep well?” He brushed the bundles of her tempting hair off her face. Ace wished he could fist them around his hand just to experience how it felt. But he kept his dirty thoughts to himself. “Very well, thank you.” She was all nervous, tossed and turned the entire night, and couldn’t even remember when she finally fell asleep. Today was the day the man before her was waiting for, along with his people. Of course, nervousness was a must. She was about to get introduced to an entire pack. It was her first. “Thalia brought in your dress. I can’t wait to see you in it.” He announced. She pushed herself up, causing him to back up, and the mattress dipped with his weight as he sat beside her. “She has?” Her eyebrows raised. Ace pointed at a couch. On it was a black garment bag. 

“We have an hour before we leave. Take a shower and meet me downstairs for breakfast. Or I could join you in the shower if you want.” He winked at her, making her cheeks heat, and warmth spread between her legs. “No, thank you.” She playfully shoved his suggestive face away from her and got on her feet. He followed suit and backhugged her. His broad frame totally wrapped her in like a bear. “I have a confession, Minsi. Promise you won’t get mad at me.” She naturally held onto his firm hands that wrapped possessively around her chest. “What is it?” Curiosity was eating her up. “I’m looking forward to consummating our reunion tonight.” He whispered into her ear, sending a burning sensation all over her body, and she gasped. If she was red before, now she was sure her face was crimson. 

Her heart was thundering inside her chest, and the heat between her legs was getting intensified. She pressed her thighs tightly together, biting her lower lip. Even if she couldn’t voice that she felt the same way as him, her body had probably given her away. She couldn’t even hide her core feelings anymore. Especially when this man was this close to him, talking such words. She bet he could smell her arousal, which made her even more embarrassed. Minsi cleared her throat before she could rub herself against him shamelessly. Shame or self-preservation was getting harder and harder for her to maintain with Ace around. He was irresistible. “I will go wash up.” She then entangled herself with his tempting body and rushed to the toilet. Ignoring his loud laughter that followed shortly. He was mocking her, and the worst part was that she enjoyed it. At this rate, she enjoyed everything that he did.

Not bothering to lock the door, she slid off her nightdress and stood before the shower. She took her time washing herself clean, rinsing her hair with a conditioner, loving the scent of it. A few minutes later, she walked out of the washroom with a towel tucked tightly around her chest and another wrapped on her head. The man was not around. His words still lingered in the air. “I can’t wait to have you on top of me either. Ace.” She murmured, blushing to herself with a wide sheepish grin. Her feet took her to the couch. She unzipped the bag and took out the dress. She covered her mouth with her free hand, gasping. Her eyes were wide like saucers. The dress was breathtaking. Thalia was indeed the best for this job.

She stood before the mirror, examining herself after putting on the dress. The lace long-sleeve mermaid dress fitted her so well as if it were her second skin. It left no part unattended. It defined every one of her curves. It showed her cleavage and a high slit that made her thigh play peekaboo with any movements that she made. She wore her hair down, letting the curls fall behind her back like a waterfall. Long, shiny, and soft. Thanks to the conditioner she used. She wore minimal makeup and nude lipstick that contrasted with her skin and the white dress she wore. She reached behind her but was having a hard time zipping up the dress. “Let me,” That magnetic voice kissed her back, making her stop breathing.
