Thalia and Minsi spent the entire morning talking about Minsi’s taste in clothes. Well, Thalia practically helped her figure out her taste without pushing her or forcing her into what she thought would be good for her. Together, they came up with her new style. Her whole life, she never thought much about her clothes or what she was wearing, because most of the time she wore baggy clothes because of her body shape. Her shape always attracted men, and they would openly harass her. Either verbally or physically. But today, for some odd reason, Minsi wanted to get rid of that. It was like she was let out of a box and released from the slavery of mind that she was wrapped in for years.

Thalia told that she could dress however she liked here as long as she wasn’t walking around showing her assets to people, or Alpha Ace would kill her as the designer. Minsi laughed, covering her mouth, “He would never do that.” She knew the man was into her, but he wouldn’t go that far. Would he? Thalia shook her head, “You have no idea what this man could or could not do, sweetie.” Thalia uttered. Minsi narrowed my eyes, “Pardon me?” What was she talking about? She thought. 

“Oh, nothing.” Thalia waved her off after realizing what she just said and picked another design book. Occupying herself. “I’m just saying, he wouldn’t like it if you show his assets for all to see, Luna,” She added and flipped the pages. Minsi chose to let it go and not dig into her words and enjoyed the moment instead. “Here, what do you think of this?” Thalia pointed at a few designs. “I like this one. This one is a big no. Hard pass. I wouldn’t be able to step out the door in that.” Minsi said in horror. With her body shape, she thought wearing body-hugging dresses was like exposing everything to the open. Everything that she was trying to hide.

“What are you saying, Luna? This would absolutely look good on you.” Thalia said with a frown. “I—look at my body, Thalia, and be honest with me.” Minsi enclosed her hands together. Thalia looked her up and down, frowning deeply, “I still don’t see it. Why do you think this wouldn’t look good on you? Look, I have been doing this work since I got my senses, so believe me when I say this will look good on you. I always advise my clients to be daring and wear what they think doesn’t look good on them. Sometimes it is their own thoughts that dim their own lights. Just wait until I make the dress for you, Luna. You are going to look so stunning that the Alpha himself would be drooling over you like the dog that he is.” They both laughed at her last sentence. 

At the end of the day, Minsi also wanted to be daring. So she picked most of the designs that she had held back from, as well as the ones she was ashamed of wearing. She didn’t know much about these people in Mistwood, and it’s only been a day with them. But what she knew was that life was different here. Just like how people were. So she also had to be different, in a better way. Start afresh.

A moment later, they both heard the car engine roaring outside, and then the humming went off. “Oh, he is back. I should pack my things.” Thalia said, placing down her glass of wine.

Yup, Minsi made herself useful around the house and served them both glasses of wine from the kitchen earlier. If she was going to live in this house, she might as well get adapted to it. “Let me help you.” Minsi offered and helped with her things that were scattered on the table.

“Hey, ladies. What have I missed?” Asked Ace the moment he walked into the living room. “Her charm, I guess. I had it all for myself, Alpha.” Thalia teased. “Careful, Thalia. I might think you want to snatch my mate from me.” He teased back while Minsi smiled at them. “Not that you are going to let me anyway,” Thalia replied, picking up her briefcase.
