Ginnie**

My breath hitched.

“Rogues…?”

The word sat heavy on my tongue, my fingers tightening around the note as my eyes dragged over the words again, slower this time—like reading it over again might somehow change what I had just seen.

Who would be stupid enough to betray Varkos?

My mind began to race through every possible scenario, anyone who moved freely through the villa…or rather someone with enough access to leak information without drawing suspicion.

And then there was him.

Varkos.

  • Rejected by the Ruthless Lycan king    The Ultimatum

Ginnie***By the time I reached the dining room, my steps slowed outside the door for a moment.I exhaled a shaky breath and straightened my shoulders before stepping inside. The moment I entered, Adrian looked up. His eyes traveled slowly over me before settling on my face. For one terrifying second, I wondered if he could tell something had happened.“Honey, you took quite a while in the restroom.” His voice was warm. “I hope you're fine.”My eyes shifted across the table, where Varkos was staring at me. A faint, knowing smile curved across his lips as he held my gaze.I quickly looked away and turned back to Adrian.“I’m fine,” I forced a smile. “I wanted to make sure I looked perfect for you.”Adrian's expression softened immediately as he stood from his chair and walked toward me. Before I could react, his arm slipped around my waist.“You shouldn’t have worried about that,” he leaned down and pressed a kiss against my forehead. “You already look perfect.”I smiled.“Thank you.”

  • Rejected by the Ruthless Lycan king    The Taste Of Him

Ginnie***Varkos’s hand stayed pressed over my mouth, warm and firm, the rough edge of his palm scraping against my lower lip. I shoved at his chest, but the hard plane of muscle barely moved. Instead, my clutch slipped from my fingers and hit the tiled floor with a dull thud. “L-let go of my mouth,” I mumbled against his hand, the words muffled beneath his palm.I twisted sideways, trying to slide past him toward the door but his free hand caught my waist and slammed my back against the cool wall beside the mirror. Before I could recover, he moved closer, trapping me between his body and the wall. One thigh slid between mine, forcing the slit of my dress apart. The sudden closeness sent a rush of heat through me, so intense my knees nearly buckled. I stared up at him, my breath catching as my heart pounded wildly in my ribs.“Five years,” Varkos whispered, leaning in until his mouth brushed the shell of my ear. “Five fucking years I’ve thought about the way you used to shake when I

  • Rejected by the Ruthless Lycan king    The Game Of Seduction

Ginnie****The black silk dress hugged every curve of my body in a way that left almost nothing to the imagination. The slit along my thigh exposed a glimpse of bare skin with every movement.I picked up my clutch from the table and turned toward the door. I had barely taken a step when my reflection caught my attention again. My hair fell in soft waves around my shoulders. My makeup was darker than usual, my lips painted a deep shade that made my face look unfamiliar.I looked like every bit of the seductive woman Adrain wanted me to be tonight.Taking a deep breath, I opened the door and stepped into the hallway, my heart pounding wildly in my ears as I made my way down the staircase.Voices drifted from the dining room. The moment I stepped inside, the conversation stopped. Then I saw him.Varkos.He was standing beside the table with one hand tucked into his trouser pocket. The moment our gazes met, he completely went still. For several seconds, he didn’t say a word. His eyes slo

  • Rejected by the Ruthless Lycan king    A Pawn In His Game

Ginnie***I stood in front of the mirror, staring at my reflection.Tonight was supposed to be nothing more than a simple dinner. But the thought of seeing Varkos made something tighten painfully inside my chest. After everything that had happened between us, I didn't even know what I was supposed to feel when I saw him again.I let out a shaky breath and reached for the earrings lying on the table. I slipped them into place and studied the woman staring back at me.My thoughts were still chasing each other when a soft knock came from the door.I turned toward the sound."Come in."The door opened, and one of the maids stepped inside, holding a large black box with both hands. She walked toward me and held it out."My lady.” She lowered her head. “Mr. Adrian asked me to give this to you."My eyebrows pulled together."Adrian?""Yes, ma'am."My gaze dropped to the box."He didn't say what it was?""No, ma'am."Without another word, I took it from her. It was heavier than I had expected

  • Rejected by the Ruthless Lycan king    Forty-Eight Hours

Kenna***Cassian stood across from me, watching every emotion flicker across my face.Instinctively I took a step backward. My mind struggled to process what I had just heard, but the words refused to make sense.Jayden.Cassian’s son.How did he know?“No…” The word barely left my mouth. “You're lying.”Cassian’s lips curved into a humorless smile.“Am I?”“Yes!” My voice echoed through the tiny room. “What proof do you have that Jayden is your son?”“Proof?” He took one slow step toward me. “Maybe you’ve forgotten that we were intimate countless times while you were staying with Varkos.”My throat tightened.“That doesn't prove anything.”“It proves more than you want to admit.”“No.” I shook my head, even though my heartbeat had already begun pounding against my ribs. “You don’t know when I got pregnant.”Cassian’s eyes darkened.“I knew when you became pregnant, Kenna.” His voice dropped to a whisper. “I secretly watched you stand there with that smile on your face, touching your

  • Rejected by the Ruthless Lycan king    A Secret Meeting

Kenna***My grip tightened around the steering wheel as the headlights cut through the dark road ahead. My heart had been pounding wildly in my ears since I left the Blood Moon Pack Villa.I was very certain that Cassian died five years ago. Yet here I was, driving to meet him.I exhaled slowly and turned my attention back to the road. The motel was nearly an hour from Bleeding Rose. Cassian had deliberately chosen a location far from it. The thought alone made something twist inside my stomach. What exactly did he know about me?That question had haunted me since the night he called. If he knew everything, he would have already exposed me.So why was he taking his time with it?A few minutes later, the motel came into view. I slowed down and pulled into the parking lot, stopping beneath a dim streetlight. For several seconds, I didn't move. My fingers remained wrapped around the steering wheel. Then I reached for the small mirror above me and looked at my reflection. My makeup was
