Joan's POV A knock on the door and I was back to panic mode. I almost forgot about the pastries in the oven and that made me so scared , I could throw up! Now there's a knock on the door, Ms Anna barely has any visitors. Joan POV He wasn't so bad looking and he had this aurora around him that made me very uncomfortable. On a regular basis, the presence of an Alpha makes any sane person uncomfortable but what I felt as he walked by was fear not submission. Joan's POV I searched everywhere for a medic but they all seem to have vanish into the thin air. Racheal wasn't home either and I couldn't ask her for help. It's been two days since the incident with Alpha Jerome and I was glad to see Ms Anna was getting better.I packed the last of my things, sad to say goodbye.Rachel has not been home since and I was starting to wonder if her mate had come to claim her forcefully. Joan's POV After Alpha Jerome dismissed me for a meeting, I made my way back into the main house, hoping to come across Ms Emma.I wasn't looking forward to meeting her again but she's with my clothes and she knows where my room was.Taking in the splendour of this mansion, I wondered if the maids around here see this place in its magnificence as I did.Of course not.Alpha Rex's mansion looked just as majestic ,even better than this but all I could think of was my horrible time there.I made my way up the stairs, avoiding any eye contacts.
