Chapter 11

Avery POV

The carriage I occupied was pulled up a hill by the horses in the carriage. Slight tremors courses through my body with each jerk of the carriage as we made our way towards the blood moon pack which Dean led.

“How're you feeling today”? He asked with a smile.

“Quite ok my love”. I replied with a smile. “The ride is a little bumpy though”. I added.

“Ah, sorry about that”. He responded with an embarrassed smile. “It's not exactly in my power to make the roads smoother though, they're not in my domain after all”.

“I know”. I said with a smile. “It'll be better if the road to your domain wasn't bumpy though”.

“I could tell them to slow down”. He suggested.

“No, that will only make us go slower”. I replied. “It's better they go faster so I get off this carriage”.

“I think the pace at which we're traveling is fine”. Dean replied.

“Okay then”. I shrugged as I turned to stare at the trees we were moving past through the window.
