Vincenzo POV

I am sitting in my office, finishing up some e-mails. The Running River Pack Alpha, and his entourage, have arrived. Viviana let them inside, but I’m not going to rush down and put on an act like I’m happy to meet him. I’m not. He imprisoned my pack members and maimed my Beta; he can wait a few minutes.

I hear the clicking of Viviana’s heels against the dark, wood floors. She knows I hate it when she stomps on the floors in her heels. I make a note to check the floors for scratches after this meeting.
