Hello! I've changed Niklaus' pet name he calls Verena to 'kitten' from 'little spitfire' as I have a close author friend, Alle, who is using the same endearment for one of her ongoing books. I wasn't aware of this until recently, and wanted to be fair, so I changed the pet name. Anyway, hope you're all enjoying the book so far!

kitten is a better name and I genuinely don't understand why you both couldn't use the name. It's not like kitten is super unique that it needs to be exclusive to one book. Little spitfire is too long, not nearly as cute, and lacks a certain intimacy. just an unsolicited opinion ...
