She walked on the pavement. She was staring back at the road to see any cab. But the road looked empty. A red sports car stopped. The windows were tinted. For a few seconds, she couldn't pluck her eyes from it.

She gasped at the beauty of it. Although, there were a lot of splendid cars on NY roads. But it looked special for a special person, " Wait! Barbie, I'll drop you. It's not safe to walk on the roadside in the middle of the night. " Matteo said, stepping out of his red sports car.

She spun and smiled at him, " You have a lovely car. But no thanks. " She shook her head and didn't stop her feet.

" Come on! Sister in law, don't be obstinate. " Matteo opened his arms and slung it immediately down.

" I'm not your sister in law. I've told you before. " She thinned her lips. Though she liked it from him.

" Okay, I'll not say it until you get married to my brother. " He chuckled.

Her eyes widened, " You're insane. " She smiled when she saw him smiling wholeheartedly.

" No doubt. Now, please. " He flew his hand back at his car.

" Fine, " She rolled her eyes, "Because you helped me," She said. He looked like a decent man.

He opened the door for her, his smile was tugged on his thin pink lips.

" Thank you, " She said, sitting in.

" Put on the seatbelt. " He said, closing the door.

Her hand reached for the seatbelt. She heard the thud of the drive side's door closed. Matteo was still standing at her side. She looked out of the window with confusion. Matteo was smiling ear to ear.

Her brows crushed in confusion. She heard the roar of the engine. She snapped her head at the driver seat with widened eyes. She was frightened. Her heart began to race.

Lorenzo De Luca was sitting in the driver seat. His one hand was on the steering wheel, and his eyes were straight on the road. His posture was like a king, one hand on the steering wheel and second over his thigh. His feet and hand moved, starting the car.

She was stunned for the moment. She was gawking at him, " S s s-top the c-ar, " She found her stuttering voice, " Stop the car. " She said more firmly.

" That's not happening. " Lorenzo simply said. His deep voice touched her heart, making her feel butterflies.

His posture was also like a dark world's king. Dread snaked her body at his simple words, She felt her heart running in her chest. His voice was commanding and sexy. She was perplexed for the moment and blinked confusedly. Her mixed feelings amazed her. The silence reigned inside the car.

She gazed out of the window, and it was the wrong route to her home, " It's not the way. " She whispered.

       " I know, " He said.

Her head snapped at him in scepticism. She glanced at him with big eyes, her hands were shaking. She hadn't heard her heart running at this speed before, " Are you kidnapping me? " She blurted in fear.

" I need to mark you. Then I'll drive you back home. Make yourself comfortable. " The air around him felt frigid. She was feeling pure dread.

" Please stop the car. I don't like your pranks. You're scaring me. " She gazed out of the window. She was fearing she'd agree to him, no matter if he made a stupid demand. He had a handsome face that no one could deny him.

" Repeating is not my style. My action repeats itself, not my words. " He growled in a slow voice.

She trembled at the audacity of him, " Please, " She said in an imploring tone.

A cold smile twisted his lips, " I'll drop you home before dawn. " His voice was promising.

She shuddered, pouring the means of it. She turned her gaze at him. He gave her a quick cold glance. She shuddered again. She took out her phone to call911. Her phone jerked away from her hands and dropped between his thighs on the driver seat. He stared at the screen and ended it, " My friend must be waiting. Please let go of me. " She made a request.

" I'll chain my monster for you. In avenge, you'll do as I say. " It rose goosebumps on her entire body. Her face turned pale for a second. She turned back to reality when his fingers tenderly brushed under her chin and closed her open mouth. She jerked back, turning her eyes quickly out.

" The police will find you. If you are planning to r-ape me. " She forced herself to be calm. Which felt impossible under his hard and intense gaze.

He pulled over the car. Her heart skipped a beat. He held her chin strongly this time so that she was forced to look into his icy grey eyes. His stare was deadly hard, " Don't give me an idea. Because I'll never force myself. I've my own rules and my own ways to reach what I want. " He stated.

She swallowed hard and pushed herself behind from his touch. She breathed heavily when he allowed his fingers to slip, partly in relief, partly in disappointment. She never got time to flirt with a handsome man.

This time he pulled over the car in front of a building. He walked around as he jumped out of his red sports car. He opened the door for her and extended his hand. She refused him by shaking her head. He bent down and held it firmly and pulled her out of it, " Please, " She protested, pulling her hand away. The water filled in her eyes.

" Shhh! " He put his index finger on her lips. She felt the hair rising on her arms. She lifted her foot to step back. His hand on her lower back stopped her. She shivered when he pressed her toward his hard chest. The hair rose on her nape.

She felt pain as she opened her eyes. First, she noticed mumbles out of the door and then pain. She pushed herself on her feet and sprinted toward the mirror. She closed her eyes for a second, holding the edge of vanity to support her weight. Gradually, She opened her eyes, running her gaze over the sutures. She felt goosebumps over her arms in fear he could have killed her. She was certain after watching five sutures. She was also certain about one thing, Alessandro would make his remaining breathing worse than hell. She spun on her heels as she heard the mumbles getting louder. She walked over to the door. She wanted to check the lock. Lifting her hand, she curled her hand over the doorknob.

She was walking out on the grass, the sun was shining bright. She was wearing a designer grey cardigan and black jeans. She was loving the sun heat on her skin. She drifted her gaze around. Her guards were patrolling the area. She sat on the chair and closed her eyes, resting her head back, enjoying the sunlight over her skin. A soft smile touched her lips as she thought about her husband. He took her out, the time she spent in the park with him, his guards weren't surrounding them. But she was aware of them. Her lips curled more in a full smile. Her body jerked with fear when she felt cold metal on her neck and a rough hand gripping her by shoulder rudely. Her eyes snapped open. After eating her meal, she came back to her room. She didn't want to be in the same room where she had seen someone dying. She spun to Alessandro. He was in a deep talk with Kruzenski. "Ales," She softly said. Kruzenski smiled broadly and she noticed a dimple in his right cheek. Alessandro noticed her hesitation, "Yes," He asked. "I don't wanna stay in this room." She said, gulping. She lowered her gaze to avoid his harsh expression. She was expecting him to deny her. Alessandro glanced at her, "Sure, you can shift the room." Kruzenski held out his hand. She looked at her husband before linking h

She bit on her lower lip softly as she began to turn the stick in her hand to see the result. She froze when she felt a cold metal pressing against her forehead. She twirled gradually, eyes widened, heart pounding loud in her chest. Her eyes met a smirking, notorious man, she recognized him from the airport. His lower lip was bright red and swollen. She pushed herself back, the stick fell from her hand, making a soft sound. She heard the click from his gun. She swallowed in fear looking into his smirking eyes. "What should I do first? Moy angel." He smirked evilly. She lifted her knees and hit him with full force. The man groaned in pain, "Yobanaya suka!" He glared at her and pointed the gun at her head.

His arm was warming and comforting as they walked down the plane, "It's cold here," She said, watching the mist around herself. Her skin was looking more white because of the cold. He pulled her closer, "You wanna be at the cold place," He looked at her. "Yeah, but it's too much." She rubbed her hands together. His expression hardened as he saw two men walking to them in black suits, "Get in the car," He said to her, motioning at Cassio. "Ales," His dark glare shut her up. Sadness clouded her beautiful features. Without wasting a second, she twirled on her heels and trotted toward the car. The next side of her was empty as she climbed down the bed and drifted her gaze around. Her gaze stopped on the half opened door. She smiled and plucked her steps toward the washroom, gathering her hair in a bun. She brushed her teeth and grabbed the towel from the hook. She took a quick shower. Taking a glimpse of herself in the mirror, she spun to the bedroom door. She was draped into a red mini dress, and thigh shoes, the soft curls of her hair were dancing with her every move. Alessandro harbored the beast, no one wanted to face. When she pulled the door, her husband was standing on the other side of the door. Her smile couldn't hide from flashing, "Good morning," Her gleeful voice re

She was toying with her phone, staring blankly at the kitchen. Her mind was hovering over where her brother was sitting on the metal chair, his nose was bleeding. Her throat tightened. She believed that he wouldn't hurt him. Footsteps echoed in the hall. It wasn't Alessandro as he never made a noise, nor did he make noise neither his guards. She whirled her head and a broad smile appeared on her face. Drawing herself on her feet, she rushed at him and jumped in his arms. Noah caught her, wrapping her in his arms. Instantly, she pulled her face back and gazed at her brother, "Your nose looks okay." She sm

He asked, turning his gaze to her arm. Blinking, she noticed his handsome face and blue gaze, "Do you always face danger?" She asked. He looked at her, "Ups and downs are a part of life.
