Chapter 9 - An arrogant Paris

London's POV

The wedding day was pure torture, and having to interact with George and his family was like walking through a minefield. I was relieved when it was finally over, and I could retreat to the sanctuary of my room. I sank onto the bed, feeling drained and exhausted. It had been one of the worst days of my life, and I wasn't sure how much more I could take.

As I thought about Paris, my sister, who had been brutally murdered, I couldn't hold back the tears that began to flow. How could this have happened? Who could have done this to her? The image of her lifeless body flashed before my eyes, and I struggled to make sense of it all. The face of the corpse was so disfigured that I couldn't be sure it was her, but deep down, I knew the truth. My sister was gone, and I would never see her again.

The grief and sadness welled up inside me, and I felt like I was drowning in an ocean of despair as I sobbed loudly.
