Chapter 2: Boyfriend Hunting

I smirked. Let go? Hell no!

"I said let go," he said coldly, tugging at the Jeans.

"No way, I grabbed it first."

"And I saw it first."

We ended up glaring at ourselves for a long time, no one wanted to give up on the jean. I mean, who the hell does he think he is?

Our eyes were still locked glaring at ourselves when a voice broke the silence. Phew, for a moment, I thought the air was getting hot. His gaze was unnerving – even through his glasses.

"What is going on here?" The manager said," Mr. Creed?"

"I want this Jean" he muttered glancing at me.

I raised my brows, "I want it too and this dumb shit isn't letting go of it."

The manager opened his mouth in astonishment. Is this girl crazy or what? Doesn't she know who she's talking to? "Um, miss, how about I give you the same brand from the shelf–"

I cut him off before he finishes, "No, I want this, and I'm getting it."

The manager's eyes turned cold, "Well, I'm afraid you can't purchase this." He pulled out the Jean from my hands and continued chatting with my cloth rival like I wasn't there. I glanced around looking for something, anything to lash out my anger on. Fortunately, I saw a pair of scissors on a shelf, by my right. Perfect! I picked it up, sauntered over to them, and forcefully took the Jean from the manager's hand before speaking, "You know... In the Bible, Solomon asked those women to divide the baby into two, so it's only right if we divide these Jean into two, don't you think?" I asked sweetly.

Wait... Was it Solomon or Samson? Ah, whatever.

Without waiting for their reply, I neatly rip off the Jeans from the middle and handed him one side. "There you go."

I smiled at their dumbstruck expression and happily walked away. Seems like this shopping was helpful. I was halfway outside when something occurred to me. The other brand that the manager spoke of!

I raced back to the manager, "Hey! You said you wanted to give me the other brand. Where is it?"

The manager looked like he was going to cry any minute, I'm sure he hasn't experienced such kind of thing in his life.

"Oh, I see it! Never mind!" After picking Jean, I went to the checkout area and paid for the two pairs of jeans... Or should I say one and a half?

In case you're wondering, my name is Azra Kings, nineteen years old. I have five brothers from different mothers, don't ask me because I don't know who my mother is, but I'm guessing she's tan-skinned just like myself. I guess I also took her Auburn hair because dad is blonde. I hate the fact that mine is lengthy, I would've shortened it long ago, but my brothers objected to it.

"We're all guys in this family, and you also want to be a man? Your dressing is enough to make us go crazy in this house so no, you ain't cutting your hair" Hayden, our second born would say whenever I bring up the topic.

•••

I left the Mall in a good mood and headed home. I need to find a way to ruin my dad's plan, I can't let him marry me off. Furthermore, I'm not ready for that yet. Everyone was seated at the dining table when I got back. I stood by the door contemplating if I should join them or not because I wasn't in the mood to see Pops. I made the decision and was about to leave when someone spoke up, "Hey princess?"

It was Hayden, the second born. He's the quiet one among them, but I love him more because he understands me best.

"You're not eating?"

I shook my head, "Not hungry."

"Come sit here Az" Dad muttered sternly.

I glared at him and leisurely went to sit beside Aaron, the fifth born." What happened? Did you get into a fight?" Harden asked.

"Or is it boy problems"Ryan, the fourth born, chimed in?

"Maybe she's in her menstrual period, you know she usually gets cranky that period" Cole murmured from the side.

My face heated. Seriously? He couldn't think of something else?

"Dad wants her to get married" The firstborn, Austin finally said.

Curses rang out through the room instantly, "What?!!"

"What the fuck is he talking about, Dad?"

He sighed, "It has already been decided, I want her to get married to my friend's son, he'll be able to protect her in the future."

Harden growled, "Are you trying to say we can't take care of her?"

My thoughts exactly! I gave him a grateful look.

"No, I'm always thinking about what is best for Az... A day will come when your guys' attention will be focused on your woman. You'll forget about your sister, so I had to find a man that can protect her in the future. You do know that my enemies are much and are always targeting me. I might not be alive to protect her when I die."

Everyone became silent, not knowing how to respond. Hmm, are you certain that's the only reason? I feel like there's more.

I became anxious," But Pop's..."

"Not now Az."

"I have a boyfriend!"I yelled at last.

The water which Aaron was drinking gushed out, splashing on Ryan, "The hell!!"

All my brothers had different personalities. Austin gets mad easily, he's the grumpy one. Harden is the quiet one, always observing. Cole is the cool one. Ryan is the playboy, he wants to get into any girl's panties. He sees them as a challenge when they reject him. And lastly, Aaron the most lively one and can make one laugh nonstop. He is the stupid one, don't tell him I said that, but it's true. I usually wonder if he's my brother. Anyway, looking at their faces now seems like they all took Austin's personality because they look mad.

"Who is he?"

"Is he a biker?"

"Do I know him?"

"Is he as cute as me?"

They asked at once, only dad and Austin watched me keenly. Damn it! I didn't think of that, it just slipped.

I shifted uncomfortably in my seat, "Um... Well, you guys never allowed me to have a boyfriend, so I had to keep it a secret."

Austin's eyes darkened the more, he has treated his little sister as an angel, and she dares hide something from him. He breathed through his anger," Has he fucked you?"

Oh, heaven! Did he just ask that? When will I ever have a private life, living with guys is sometimes annoying. My face flushed red as I thought of a way to answer. I know they won't let it go till I reply. So in a small voice, I said, "No, I promise."

I immediately rushed towards dad and grabbed his hand, "Please dad, let me be with him. I prefer not to marry that man" I purposely called him dad knowing he can't refuse me.

Looking at his princess's pitiful face, Williams couldn't help but chuckle inwardly. She's smart, he must admit, he could tell she's looking for a way out. What she doesn't know is that there's no way out.

"Daddy please!" I let a teardrop and pouted.

"Alright."

"Yes!! I love you, pops."

"No, not so fast, I'll give you a chance to be with him if he's better than the man I have in mind and if he's able to take care of you." He paused for a moment and then, "Why don't you bring him home for dinner? If he meets up to my requirements then fine, you can be with him but if not... You'll still be getting married in two weeks! With that, he walked out of the dining room, leaving me speechless. Come on!! I knew dad was smart enough to know to figure something out, but why does he have to be so smart? Can't he just, agree, and let me be with my imaginary boyfriend?

My brothers left one after the other after him, leaving Hayden and me alone, "You couldn't tell me about it too? I didn't expect that from you, Az" he said before leaving.

"No... You don't understand Ahh" he called me Az meaning he's angry, but that's the least of my problem now, I don't have a boyfriend and dad wants to have dinner with him? Oh God looks like I have to go boyfriend hunting.

Next-Day!

It was late evening already, and I haven't come up with a solution yet, so I left home with one intention in mind. Boyfriend hunting.

The guys in my biker clan don't suit my taste nor will they convince dad, so I had to go search outside, but the question is where? A thought popped into my head as I drove, bar. I can easily get a boyfriend there.

I arrived at the bar and parked my bike in a dark corner. Just as I got down from the bike, a figure appeared in front of me." Whoa...look what we've got here. It's Mr. kings daughter"

Another figure showed up then another till I was surrounded by four guys... I stiffened when I realize something, they're not just guys but bikers! Bikers from another clan. They're my father's enemy.

                  KIAN's POV ~

"Son, come home quickly! I've been admitted to the hospital," Dad said on the phone.

Some chick was riding me when I heard his sentence. I pushed her off me and sat up, "What? Admitted? What's wrong with you?"

"The doctor said its acute bronchitis, some sort of c-chest cold–" he started coughing frantically before he could finish.

"Dad? Dad! I'll be there soon, okay? Just hang in there for me."

That was how I left Australia for California to see my dad. I had a private jet, so I quickly arranged for the trip.

I was so anxious that I couldn't think straight. After several hours, I arrived home only to find out my dad wasn't in the hospital. He was sitting comfortably at home with a newspaper in hand.

"Dad?"  I realized that dad has tricked me. He isn't sick, he just wants me to return home quickly.

"Come seat here, son, I wanted to discuss something with you."

Seriously? He's acting as if nothing happened? I sat down and shortly after, he dropped the bomb. "I've found a bride for you."

***

So yeah, that's why I'm standing in the middle of men's clothing with a gloomy expression.

My company, C. K enterprises are divided into many sections... Textiles and clothing, shoes, phones, and laptops with many other things. There was an urgent matter that needed my attention, so I came. As I was walking around the shelves, a Jean caught my attention. It wasn't the kind of cloth he usually goes for, but he liked it.

Just as I was about to pick it, a small hand grabbed it. I turned to see a petite young lady staring at me with big eyes.

I was in no mood to argue then, I could only command with a cold voice, "Let go."

Surprisingly, she smirked...

I mean, she smirked at me, does she know who I am?" No way!"

I wasn't interested in Jean, but her determination to have it, made me want it even more. The manager took over the situation, later on, I thought the crazy girl has given up but nope, imagine my surprise when I saw her with a pair of scissors.

"I'm so sorry, Boss, I'll send someone to deliver the same pair of Jeans for you. Please don't fire me."

He wanted to take the half pair, but I found myself holding on to it. I glanced at it for a while, then "I'll keep it."

I left the Mall feeling worse than before, that bitch. Who the hell is she? And why am I keeping the other half?

I drove for a while then slowed down in the cause of traffic. Suddenly, a thunderbolt power bike stopped by my window.

My windshield was whined down so as she turned, our eyes locked, and oh shit! It's the girl from the Mall!

It took me a minute to realize that this girl doesn't give a damn about my looks, nor does she know who I am. I'm not surprised though, I've always liked to keep a low profile even though I'm freaking rich.

I didn't even bother to bring my guards along, even though it's risky. My enemies would have used this opportunity to strike, but it's already so late, who would have time to monitor my movement?

The light showed yellow then green, before I could hit on my accelerator, the motorcycle beside me sped off and in a blink of an eye, she's gone like a wind.

A biker? No wonder she's crazy. I should have known that from her dressing.
