Jackson did not say anything to his mom when he heard what she said about returning for Callan's remembrance.

It's not like Callan is still alive so there is no point being bothered about her hosting a little celebration to remember her darling son.

“I will make sure that it goes well.” Jackson said to her with a faint smile on his face because if he was to have it his own way he would make sure no one remembers Callan.

His mom did not say anything after hearing what he said about making sure that everything goes well. He felt there was something different about her and she seemed a little cold which is totally unlike her, but he didn't bother about it so much, he felt like she must have had a very long journey and which is why she is a little tired.

Jackson had something important to take care of so he was about taking his leave when she called him back.

“Did you get the gift I sent to you?” Jackson smiled looking at her when he had the question she asked him.
