Hallucination

Knox was there before she could take a step outside, yanking her back inside and slamming the door shut. A squeal left her mouth as she was suddenly lifted to the air, the next thing she felt was her back to head.

Rakel's face appeared in her field of vision all of a sudden. "It's not what you think!"

Delaney cocked her head to the side and blinked innocently. “I didn't think anything!”

Knox scoffed as he sat peacefully on the bed. “Yes, you did. Your face says it all. You like the thought of Rakel and I together, don't you?”

"No!" she squeaked, her face flushing scarlet as she shook her head furiously.

They heard a bang at the door the next minute, indicating that Rakel had left the room. Delaney sat up and glanced after him, a frown carved on her face. With an inquisitive gaze, she turned to Knox who shrugged. “Seems like he has something in his mind.”
