Over our assembly, there was a clamor of triumph and rebirth as the applause and howls of joy sounded. I lifted a hand to quiet my loud Nightwalker pack chorus. When everyone looked at me, their Alpha, the one who had guided them through the darkest nights, a silence descended over the assembly.
