I had just requested for Giselle to attend the conference meeting on my behalf while I head out of the premises to go visit Etha at the clinic where she had been admitted in.

"Welcome Mr. Ethan. Please come with me if you don't mind." The nurse dressed in a crisp white uniform led the way, taking me with her into the ward where Etha was.

In the ward, I met both Amelia and Ava standing at her bedside, the doctor just a few steps away. He reached out to shake hands with me, and by the time I shook his hand, the nurse who had just guided me into the ward earlier, politely excused herself.

"What is this motherfucker doing here?!!!" Amelia went wild the moment she caught sight of me.

One could tell that she'd been crying, as her eyes looked swollen and a bit red like a ripe tomato.
