"Hey!" Lorreine exclaimed. "Louella and I are going to Intramuros. Do you want to come along?"

I and Iwatani looked at Lorreine while lifting weights. They had just arrived while we were almost leaving.

"Actually," she continued, "I'm just tagging along with them. Tita has some business there, so I said I'll come. Louella said she'll come too."

"Why not?" I replied. "It's already vacation time, and we don't have anything to do. Is it okay with you, Iwatani?"

"I'm not busy either. I can tag along."

"It's a deal, then!"

Once again, the gym was filled with laughter because of Lorreine. She's friends with everyone here, and I couldn't help but also get to know some of them because of her.

How I wish I had her confidence in making friends. But then again, I am selective in choosing friends. I prefer having a few but trustworthy friends than having many but not knowing them well enough.

Not that I'm saying that Lorreine doesn't know her friends. She probably knows all of them. But
