Her Overprotective And Inquisitive Brother

WHITNEY'S POV

"What the heck is happening here?" My brother said as he walked into the room with a small box in his hand which he set close to the edge of the bed.

"Good afternoon, Martin," I greeted as Henry and I disengaged.

"Good afternoon, Whitney, how are you doing?" he responded without looking at me. He was staring intently at Henry.

"I am fine," I responded as I felt uneasy because of the way he was staring at Henry, however, I wasn't worried.

Martin and Henry are not close but they have a cordial relationship. I have seen the two of them shake hands and exchange pleasantries several times over the years. Even though Martin rarely talks about Henry as well as all the members of the Alpha's family, I know that Henry is the only one he seems to like in the Alpha's family.

I know he was staring at Henry out of curiosity cos he has never met him in my room. Martin is very inquisitive and I am sure that he would be wondering what he came to do in my room.
