Chapter 11

HANNAH

I jolted in place when a loud pop welcomed me as soon as I stepped into the kitchen. Soon, chats were heard everywhere.

"Happy birthday!"

"Happy birthday!"

"Happy birthday, dear Hannah!"

And after some little surprise, I finally could see and recognize all the people gathering in the dining room. My parents, Danny, his Beta, Gamma, and their mates.

Looking at them made me feel slight pity for my brother for not finding his mate yet. I wished he could meet her soon.

Just as I thought about mate things, a cedarwood scent sipped into my nose.

Of course, Eliot was here.

But before I could decide what to do about him, I felt a hand slip on my waist, and soon, sparks danced as our bodies collided. I instantly growled and glared at him.

"Oh!"

"Wow!"

And it went wilder when he pecked my lips.

"Does it mean you two are a fated mate?" Danny represented all of them to ask.

"No!" I blurted out as I pushed his body away. This couldn't happen because no one should know about us being mates.
