HANNAH

"Where are you?" It was his first word when I picked up his call.

"Far from you." I slightly played with my tone to tease him.

Finally, I could be free of him after he followed me the entire morning. I needed to distract him, so I got a way to run away.

There was no way I would be near him after last night and this early morning incident. I couldn't be near him anymore.

"Where is it? Why didn't you say something to me?"

"For what? I have no obligation to tell you."

"I'm here for you."

"Then it's your problem, not mine."

"Tell me where it is. I'll go-"

I didn't hear the rest of his words as I cut the call. But a second later, it rang again from the same person.

I touched the red button to end the call.

He tried again, and I did the same. And after three more calls, he gave up but sent me a text message.

[I'll wait for you in the pack house.]

I huffed, not liking the idea. Eliot should have been back to his territory instead of roaming in someone's pack for days. I understood it
