1. Fateful Encounter

The Heimel Morzend was very crowded when Vanya was doing her job as a waiter in that famous bar in Brussel, Belgia.

Many men and women were drinking and talking to each other. Not only couples, but also friends came to the bar to have fun and to feel free from their hard lifes.

"Hello, please tell Vanya to come to my room" Bart asked the Receptionist by phone.

Bart is the Supervisor of the bar where Vanya was working. So, the Receptionist told Vanya the request from their Supervisor.

"Vanya, Mr. Bart asked you to come to his room now" told the Receptionist.

"What? Okay, thanks." Vanya had many thoughts about why her Supervisor called her. As soon as possible, Vanya walked to Bart's room and knocked on his door.

"Excuse me, Sir. Did you ask me to come here?" asked Vanya.

"Yes, I did. Come in Vanya" answered Bart while looking at Vanya's face.

Vanya came into Bart's room and stood in front of him.

"Okay, Vanya. We have a VIP member who will come with his friends in five minutes. I want you to serve them as best as you can," explained Bart to Vanya.

"Okay, Sir. I'll do my best." Answered Vanya without knowing who the VIP member was.

Vanya was feeling surprised when her Supervisor wanted her to serve the VIP member. But, she was happy because it was a good thing, it meant that she did a great job in the bar so that the Supervisor wanted her to serve VIP member.

Before she started to serve the menu, she saw the name of the VIP member on the customer list.

"Kevin Montguarez?" She started thinking about the name that was really familiar.

She moved her finger to the name of the company that Kevin managed.

"CEO of Autoekomsten Corporation? What!?" Vanya almost screamed but she could stop it before it happened by closing her mouth with her hands.

"Oh, shit! Is it really him?" She groaned in her heart.

Vanya was not sure whether the name she saw on the list was really someone she knew. So, she started to do her job as soon as possible. She was trying to be a professional because she knew her job was very important for her life.

She brought some glasses and wine to the VIP table which the CEO named Kevin booked. Kevin and his friends stopped talking when Vanya came to serve the drink for them. At the moment, the atmosphere was very awkward for Vanya. Because, all the men were looking at her and the most awkward thing was the man who booked the VIP table was clearly the CEO of Autoekomsten Corporation which Vanya got to see on the Television almost everyday. The man who owned the company and caused bankruptcy for her father's company.

When she saw that man's face, it sounded so clear in her memories how her father hurted so much because of the tragedy he was having. How her father became sick and died. 

After that, her life was really like hell. She had to drop out of the University and worked hard to help her mother and little sister to continue their life without her father. As the oldest child in her family, she had to bury her own happiness and her dream, then worked hard to support her family needs.

When she was busy with her thoughts, one of Kevin's friends named Niels was trying to abuse Vanya by touching her butt. Vanya, who was not an escort, was very upset because of what Niels had done.

"Hello, beautifull," said Niels while trying to put his arms on Vanya's waist.

"Hey! Please be polite, Sir!" Vanya was trying to push Niel's hand away.

"Don't be shy honey." Niels kept trying to touch Vanya's body.

The place Vanya worked only allowed the employees to wear slim fit and short skirts. So, she looked very sexy at that time. It made Niels think Vanya was an escort too.

Since Vanya was not an escort but only a waiter, she was out of patience then slapped Niels face spontantly.

"Shit!" Niels was very angry after Vanya slapped her.

His eyes were full of anger. Suddenly he stood up and tried to reach Vanya's hand to give a lesson to her. But, Kevin moved faster and blocked him.

"Niels! Stop it!" Told Kevin while blocking Niels to hit Vanya.

"No, Kevin. She has to receive some lessons!" Yelled Niels to Kevin.

"She is just a woman. Don't fight with her just because of this small thing. Don't embarrass the company by hitting a woman. If you want to be serviced by any woman, just choose one escort. I'll pay for you. But, please don't make a fuss with this woman." Told Kevin calming Niels down.

Niels stopped what he wanted to do to Vanya. But, Vanya didn't like Kevin and had some personal grudge against him from the start. She didn't feel thankful for him.

"I'm sorry for what my friend has done" Kevin tried to ask for an apology from Vanya.

But, Vanya was still upset and holding her emotion from what Niels had done to her. She didn't understand why men in this world thought women in sexy outfits in a place like this could be touched as they wanted.

"I'm just a waiter here, so my job is serving your drink, not your lust!" With full of anger Vanya told Kevin and friends what was in her mind.

She was fed up because of the situation. She didn't care if her Supervisor got angry, she would tell the reason why she slapped Niels.

Although Kevin had helped Vanya from Niels anger, Vanya who had personal problems with him didn't feel thankful. Even less saying thanks, she just left them without saying any words. Yet, her expression was very upsetting for Niels.

"Shit! You just help that woman who has no gratitude to you. What an arrogant woman!" Niels felt more angry because of Vanya's unpleasant expression.

"Let her go, bro. Forget her and let's have fun!" Told their other friends.

Vanya left the VIP table with her anger. On the other hand, Kevin was still confused because of her attitude even though he just helped her.
