I don’t believe it!

I thought Nic’s spells were supposed to work on all the investors.

“Excuse me, what did you just say?” I furrow my eyebrows.

“I said, who do you think you are to tell us what to do? You think your silly spells can work on me?” he rose to his feet and approached me.

“Uh uh, not so fast. Stop where you are,” Nic enters the conference room.

“You silly boy, you thought your spells could do anything hahaha.”

Nic rolls his eyes.” My bad, there must have been a fault.

“You’re clearly a liability so you’re going to give up all your investments here and when they ask you tell them you want to start your own business okay?”

The man’s eyes glaze over before he nods his head. “Yes I will.”

When the meeting is over, I pull Nic to my office.

“Nic, why didn’t the spell work on him?”

It’s shocking because my cousin has never failed a spell and I just hope this was the first and last rutile it happened.
