A lot of things are on my mind. First, the search for the footballer was a failure. I did all I could but nothing.

I even asked one of the guys at work that I overheard talking about him. Nothing.

If he came here to hide, then he succeeded. Not even a hint of any kind.

I used to watch a few games before. I completely shut down watching the game. Since the day I saw Alex, Amelia's father I completely shut it out of my life. seeing him leaving his life with no sign of any remorse nor any attempt to come back to us hurts me. I felt the same pain I from all those years all over again.

Then there is Jace.I haven't heard from Jace. It's been a week already. I tried finding the place he is staying, but that was not possible either. I called him multiple times. Nothing.

I really am worried. It's bringing back a very sad memory from my previous life. But I kept pushing it away, telling myself Jace won't do that. Either way, this is one of the reasons I kept my walls really high.
