Chapter 56- Stubborn Eric

Eric's phone rang as he sat on his seat in the plane. He checked the caller and he saw it was his mom.

He stared at his phone for a while and watched it ring, deciding if to answer the call or not.

He finally answered the call.

"Eric, what's the meaning of the stunt you pulled at the airport? ``His Mom asked without waiting for him to greet her.

"Mom, so you are aware," Eric said.

"Why not! It's everywhere on social media. Check your damn phone! " his mom screamed.

"Hey mom, calm down. You don't need to get angry" Eric said.

"Why won't I get angry? I didn't raise you up to be like this. You embarrassed her in front of everyone! People are already making fun of her" Mrs Salmadiego said angrily.

"I didn't mean to mom" Eric replied.

"Oh, shut up. You asked her to do that public apology right? " she asked.

"Yeah," Eric replied.

"Then she did it. She swallowed her pride and apologized to you in the presence of everyone. You shouldn't have walked away " she said.
