All three of them hatched their own plans throughout the dinner. Qi Xiaorou was sitting on the sofa directly across Xiao Yihan. Seeing her beloved man fawning upon another woman was the worst feeling ever.

She had missed him terribly when Xiao Yihan went outstation for more than a week. Days and nights passed with her looking forward to his return, but when he finally came back, the first thing he did was rush over and meet Jian Jianan.

Jealousy consumed her senses when she saw the way Jian Jianan clung onto his arm, and the loving gesture he made caressing the bridge of Jian Jianan’s nose.

She also wanted him to embrace her, kiss, and caress her as a lover would normally do.

The person that occupied Qi Xiaorou’s thoughts for the past week was right in front of her. She could not help but extend her leg to nudge Xiao Yihan’s calf. The tip of her sole rubbed back and forth against Xiao Yihan’s muscular calf. It was an extremely seductive gesture.

It seemed like she was trying to get his attention.

Xiao Yihan was successfully turned on by Qi Xiaorou’s flirting. At first, he was still actively avoiding it, but as soon as he knew that Jian Jianan did not notice anything odd, he became a little more daring. He stretched his leg and entwined it with Qi Xiaorou’s, flirtatiously grazing each other’s legs. Their gazes were fully locked on one another, their eyes dripping with lust and seduction.

If Jian Jianan was not around, they would have already jumped onto each other.

The movement beneath the table did not go unnoticed. Jian Jianan’s feet had gotten caught in the crossfire a few times. Even though her expression remained calm, she wished she was able to tear this shameless pair to shreds.

The affair between them had started many years ago, but she did not notice at all! Xiao Yihan and Qi Xiaorou had cheated on her for the past five years, and their maleficence had only been exposed right before they murdered her!

She felt so stupid. In the previous life, Qi Xiaorou and Xiao Yihan had been doing stuff like this in front of her more than once, but still, she blindly trusted them!

‘Bang…’

Jian Jianan slammed her chopsticks on the table before standing up. The loud noise she made caught them by surprise. Qi Xiaorou and Xiao Yihan immediately stopped what they were doing under the table. Guests seated at the adjacent table also looked toward her.

“Nannan, what is it? You don’t like the dishes?” Xiao Yihan stood up instantly, there was a trace of nervousness and guilt in his voice. He was annoyed at himself for the lack of self-restraint. If Jian Jianan discovered his affair with Qi Xiaorou, he would lose everything!

“Sis, are you feeling unwell?”

Jian Jianan snickered inwardly as she stared coldly at their panicked states. ‘Weren’t you two just entangled in the heat of the moment? Guilt crept in so early that they’re just going to stop?’ she thought to herself.

Right then, Jian Jianan’s mouth curved into a smile, and she said, “I just wanted to go to the washroom. Why are you guys so anxious?”

Jian Jianan could clearly see Xiao Yihan let out a sigh of relief!

“I’ll accompany you since you hurt your leg.”

Xiao Yihan was about to hold Jian Jianan’s arms, but she ducked away and said, “No need, I’m not handicapped! You should just stay put and deshell some crabs for me!”

“Sis, why don’t I accompany you,” Qi Xiaorou also stood up. Even though she offered, the insincerity was written all over her face.

“I said there’s no need!”

Watching the shadow of Jian Jianan’s back as she walked to the restroom, Qi Xiaorou huffed in frustration, “Don’t you think she’s being too much!”

Xiao Yihan frowned and glared at Qi Xiaorou before warning sternly, “No more funny business in front of Jian Jianan from now on, do you understand? If she finds out about us, both of our lives are ruined!”

Finally, the emotional turmoil that Qi Xiaorou had been suppressing for the past few days exploded, “You’re that afraid of Jian Jianan? She’s an eighteen-year-old girl!”

“Even if she is only eighteen years-old, she’s still the eldest daughter of the North-South Pharmaceutical owned by the Jian Group. If I want to make it in life, she has to be mine!”
