(Weeks later)

A resounding slap landed right on Rina’s face, her cheeks turned pink, Gina was fuming as she felt like giving her another one.

Rina hold onto her cheeks with a gasp, “Mom-“ She muttered shocked not knowing what the slap for.

“What’s the meaning this rubbish am seeing?!” Gina yelled as she shown her the test results from last week.

“This is a misunderstanding Mom, it’s not what you think.”

Gina scoffed, “not what I think? Are you kidding me here! Who’s the father of that thing in your stomach! Tell me now!” She yelled while Rina flinches in fear.

“I can explain, Mom. I was so drunk and I couldn’t remember a thing, I wasn’t in my right mind,” She explained herself but Gina wasn’t ready to listen.

“Drunk you say! What made you drink that you forgot your wedding on the line! You just ruined everything!” Her foster father, Simone snapped furiously.

Then Rina was reminded of what happened for the past few weeks, catching her fiancé sleeping with her best friend, giving out her body to a man she knew nothing about! Now, She’s pregnant??

“Gil cheated first, He-“

Gina scoffed, “That doesn’t give you the right to cheat on him! Talkmore of getting pregnant! You slut! You should have seek for forgiveness or apologize to the Johansson!” Gina snapped and Rina was taken aback by those irritating words.

“Apologize? Why should I! They ruined my life first! So why?!” Rina yelled back at her getting angry by the whole thing.

Simone stood up, “Because of your nonchalant attitude! The other family called the wedding off!” He yelled obviously pained. He spent a lot on the wedding, he was hoping he could grow his business through it.

“W-what? So you think this is all my fault? Mom…?”

“Are you shocked? You filthy thing! Do you know what I regretted the most?” Gina asked obviously not expecting an answer “Taking you from that gutter!” She lashed out.

Adrianna bat her eyelashes preventing the tears not to call in presence of her so called parent. It’s true that they adopted her but she feel pained whenever they mention it to her face.

“Do you have to always say that!”She summon the courage to talk back at her.

“Are you raising your voice at me! you ingrate!” Gina yelled back

“You both don’t care about my opinion, you’ve always made decisions for me and I have never complained but you’re putting the blame on me without hearing my own side of story?” She asked almost in tears.

Gina rolled her eyes while Simone glare at her. “No one needs your opinion, we are the one that adopted you! We decide what you do! In fact, start packing your things! It’s either your plead for forgiveness or leave our house!” Simone instructed but Adrianna shook her head.

“I can do everything you want me to do but you want me to apologize to a cheat? No, I’m sorry but I will not!” Without sparing the both of them glance, she dashed into her room.

She fell on her kneels, the tears she’s been holding started pouring outta her eyes. “Why! Why does it have to be so hard for me?” She cries.

But instead, Gina bang on the door till the lock broke, she barge inside and started pulling Rina out of the room.

“Get out of my house now! I don’t need you anymore! Get that thing in your stomach out if you want to live with us!” Gina pull her out.

“No, No, don’t do this to me, I can’t kill my baby, please…” Rina cried but Gina didn’t care instead she drag her roughly on the floor

Gina suddenly let go of her hand and pull away from her slowly, “Get out, out of this house,” She said calmly but deep down she felt like killing her

Tears dropped one, till it became more making Rina’s eyes cloudy.

She manage to stand on her feet and crawl into Gina’s legs, “-Mom,,,Don’t do this to me, I’m your daughter,”She cried.

“Don’t call me that word ever again in your life, I’m not your mom! I picked you from that homeless woman and I regretted doing that!” She snapped angrily.

Rina trembled to the horrifying words, “Don’t say that, Mom-“

“GET OUT, NOW!”

Before Rina knew what was happening, Gina pushed her out of the house and locked the gate right away.

Not so long, rain started dropping heavily and Rina was under the rain crying and hoping Gina would open the door but Gina turned deaf ear and walk away.

Rina crumbled onto her kneels and was rubbing her tummy, “I will protect you my child, I will,” She mumbled as tears kept dropping as she walk away in the rain.

Few minutes later, the rain stopped.

“Oh my! Are you okay? Why are you drenched?”A woman came to her worriedly but Rina was tired and cold she had no choice but to pass out on the woman’s hand.
