Chapter 20

Debbie was proud of herself. She was proud of the progress she had made in reorganising the firm. It had taken several weeks to secure new employees and department heads. Each had their own strengths and were working together toward a common goal. Which was to make the new RBG LLC a success. A lot of the old clients came back, which gave the firm a solid base to grow from. But just days away from the opening ceremony, Debbie still needed a good project manager. She had asked the HR Director to compile a list of posible candidates. They planned to interview them together. As Debbie was going down the list, she noticed just one or two women's names. She really wanted to keep the staff diversified if she could. So she circled the two names and asked for them to be interviewed first. The HR Director was a bit miffed, as he really thought that business was best suited to men. But Debbie was the boss, so he went ahead and scheduled the interviews for that same day.
