13: The Heart Wants What It Wants

I N  A N  U N D I S C L O S E D location, it was dark out, making it all the while harder to clearly define whose house it was but it must have been in the heart of the city.

There was a street lamp about a foot away from the house, the little amber light it cast revealing that the house was of two floors, with a dark window on the upper floor.

The lamp began to flicker just as a light gale swept a litter of dried leaves across the porch of the house, with some even brushing against the window.

With a crackle, the light from the lamp dwindled out, enveloping the area around the house in total darkness, leading up through the window into an even darker room where soft noises of someone breathing could be heard as if they were asleep.

One of the window's panes suddenly flung open
