18: Blood In The Sky
T H E R E W E R E L O W rumbles of thunder in the mid-morning, with clouds slightly tinted grey blanketing the sky as Lucas stared at them through the window next to his desk just as Marcus nudged him.
“My sister’s here,” he said to him and Lucas turned from the window to spot Carmen make her way through the door.
Seated in the back was Scott, who was all but surprised to see her in there.
Set at the end of the school classes block, the room housed nine people which added up to ten with the arrival of Carmen.
It had torn and worn out books from the library, broken computers and lab equipment plus a teacher who was busy minding his own business on his phone, playing Candy Crush — the detention room.
This explained why Scott was amazed to see Carmen join detention class. She never got detention plus this detention was

A B O V E T H E B I G blue waters of the Atlantic, a yacht was swaying above the low tides just as a young man, probably around seventeen, was casting out a large fishing net out to sea when the sapphire waters began to get upset.Leaning over the ledge, the boy watched the waters knock on the sides of the yacht, kissing the woodwork which had the boy then follow tiny ripples that formed up and according to his occupational experience, ripples usually appeared from a disturbance in the water where the energy would be transferred from the source of the disturbance.This was the exact opposite however.The ripples seemed to be converging at a central point as the boy followed the tiny wave blankets.As soon as the ripples merged, the point of intersection then quickly began to hollow out like when you would blow over a cup of hot coffee to cool it off.
