Chapter 38

One day Alan came over to the Team 18 group. There seemed to be a purpose. After almost a month, there was another conversation between them.

"There's something important I want to talk to you about," Alan said with a serious look on his face.

Theo and Stephanie started to leave even though break time was still thirty minutes away. The two were too lazy to talk to Alan.

"We'll be waiting at the restaurant opposite our office. Don't be late, because the chef's mum misses you, Stefan!" Theo taunted and stormed out of the room, followed by Stephanie who trailed behind him with a giggle.

Stefan pulled out a chair for Alan. "Have a seat!" he offered. "What do you need?"

As if nothing had gone wrong before, bluntly and without embarrassment, Alan asked Stefan for a favour.

"You've worked with gaming companies three times. Your track record is pretty good. My team ran into some problems. Are you willing to help?" he whined, not pleading, but holding himself high.
