Chapter 150- Entering the Secret Room

Jamari’s POV

“I really don’t think we need to bring so many Demon’s with us to the old Church Ruins.” I say for the hundredth time since finding out Levi planned on bringing body guards with us to the Ruins.

“My Mother has made an appearance twice while we have been here, I am not taking any chances with your safety Red.” Levi says over his shoulder as he gives orders to six mean looking Demons he has stationed outside the perimeter of the Ruins.

Once he finished giving out orders the rest of us moved past the barrier warily. Levi had a hunch that we would be able to bring armed guards within the barrier of the Ruins, but we weren’t certain that the old Church wouldn’t send us all flying away.

We all stand right inside the barrier silently for what felt like forever before Kenji lets out a deep breath he had been holding. “Looks like the Church is allowing us to bring our protection across with us.”
