I like the fire dragon hybrid. She’s powerful, as all fire dragons are, but she also has an air of authority to her. That’s the Lycan blood in her. Well, I just got a first-hand look at when and how Phoenix and Emmi disconnect. I thought we were making good progress and I’m very thankful that I was with her when she smelled Kenzo. That night, Kenna didn’t return. I’ve been alone for a long time, but for some reason, the empty room feels even more lonely.I sit on my bed, looking around the room. After the trials, things mostly went back to normal. We had a new group of students arrive, replacing the ones who had died in the war, which included a new group of elves and werewolves.Ajax was walking me to class one day when Nesterin stopped us. He had been very vocal about the double standard for claiming dragons since Phoenix claimed Ajax. But, he wasn’t one of the ones who left.
