Chapter Thirteen: Arthur Meets Anastasia

Arthur’s expression darkened. His grip on the phone tightened. He was not able to control his anger and threw the phone against the wall. Noah froze at his place and looked at his new phone helplessly.

Arthur stared at Noah as a dangerous glint flickered in his eyes. Noah immediately lowered his gaze. He didn’t dare to meet Arthur’s murderous gaze.

“It is the same woman. Where is she? Now don’t tell me you could not find her information. You better give me an answer that I can understand,” Arthur said in a bone-chilling tone.

Upon hearing his cold tone, Noah trembled a little and spoke up nervously, “Sir, we were able to find who was driving the car. Noah was expecting this question from him. "Her name is Anastasia William. We still don't know anything about her background, her family, or what she came to New York for. And another surprising thing is that she came and moved into the mansion next to yours that has been empty for 20 years," Noah said with his head bowed.

Arthur frowned at his strange information."I will hear from her what she came there to do and what she is doing. Tell the diver to get the car ready," Arthur said, picked up his suit from the chair, and left the cabin. Noah quickly followed him.

When Arthur came out of his cabin, everyone on the floor fell silent. Seeing his angry face, no one dared to look at him, everyone lowered their heads and started working attentively. A heavy silence hung in the air as all held their breaths. When Arthur entered the private elevator, everyone took a relieved breath.

When Arthur and Noah arrived at the underground car park, the driver immediately opened the car door for them. Arthur got into his Rolls-Royce Phantom without a word. Noah sat in the front seat and gave the driver the address and the driver started driving

After finishing lunch, Anastasia put her children to sleep and came out of the room.

I just expressed my opinion and I have every right to express my opinion. It is my freedom. You can not snatch it from me," Anastasia said with a bitter smile.
