“We are lucky my uncle has a good job, otherwise my life would be like that”

He points to a few kids who were clearly starving as they beg for money and food.

“Stop the car”

I tell the driver, wiping a tear from my face as I pull out my purse and hold my hand out for drakes wallet. He smirks taking everything out of it but as he goes to get out caden stops him

“Don’t give it all to them, just enough for a few meals, they need to be able to hide it from there mum or she will buy drugs”

I gasp in shock, looking to the kids. Seeing the girl had pockets I look to caden

“Do you know them? Can you give it to them and tell him to hide it?”

He nods, taking some of the money and he climbs out, talking to the kids. They nod, separating some of it and she gives a little to the boy who nods and runs off calling for his mum as the girl hides the rest and waves to us.

Caden gets back in, watching them

“She will be watching, if they don’t give her something she will search them”
