Tyler’s POV

"What was that?" I asked my cousin Mara when Caesar and Brae were finally out of sight. Now I can finally hold my cousin accountable for what she did to Brae.

"What do you mean?" Mara questioned, trying to appear innocent despite the fact that she was well aware of what I was talking about.

I put down the wine glass I was holding. “You know what you did, Mara. You were provoking Brae,” I said in a serious tone while facing her. "You might not have directly said it, but I knew you were insulting her. Why? Is it because we used to date? If that is the case, then do you want to insult me too?
