Chapter Thirty

"How is it?" he asked, observing my reaction and I rolled my eyes at his question because it was good. He knew it was good and he didn't even need my validation yet he asked with so much concern in his eyes.

Jayden may have ruined the beginning of our dinner date but I was determined to make this one memorable. Zach did all the cooking while I helped and watched him cook which was more fun and more tempting than the food itself.

"I hate you, Zach. This is annoyingly good." I spoke with my mouth full of dessert, earning a deep chuckle from him and he pulled my chair closer towards him. I let out a soft gasp, not audible to him and licked my lips as I watched his every move. He made churros for dessert and easily it was my favourite now. Everything he did was becoming my favourite thing to watch or eat or do and I liked the way he was making me feel when I was with him.
